AI Summary

You will manage and optimize the 2D Art team's workflows by planning tasks, defining timelines, and facilitating cross-functional communication. Additionally, you will use data-driven insights to structure processes, track project metrics, and proactively resolve production bottlenecks.

X-FLOW is a mobile game development company established in 2018. We gained recognition after the release of Happy Color, the most popular digital coloring book and one of the most successful ad-driven mobile apps in the world.

We’re looking for a data-driven Project Manager to manage and optimize the workflows of our 2D Art team. You will be responsible for planning, timeline control, and facilitating communication between the Art team and cross-functional departments to ensure the quality and timely delivery of art content.

This role goes beyond standard task coordination: we need a professional with strong analytical skills who can structure data, deeply customize tracking tools, and proactively identify and solve process bottlenecks using data-driven insights.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan and decompose Art team tasks, managing the art pipeline, backlogs, and sprints.
  • Define and track project timelines, including roadmaps, deadlines, and release plans.
  • Distribute tasks among artists based on current workload, capacity, and individual competencies.
  • Deeply customize Jira to fit team processes: set up custom fields, workflows, statuses, filters, dashboards, and automations.
  • Work confidently with large tables and datasets, structuring and analyzing data to improve production efficiency.
  • Aggregate data from various sources to build clear, comprehensive reports, metrics, and visual dashboards.
  • Independently identify process issues, risks, blockers, and bottlenecks through data analysis (rather than just coordinating tasks) and implement solutions.
  • Coordinate interactions between the Art team and producers, game designers, developers, and marketing.
  • Oversee the quality control of art assets, ensuring they meet references and the art brand book guidelines.
  • Organize and facilitate team meetings (plannings, retrospectives, status syncs).
  • Maintain project documentation, including task trackers, art guidelines, and reporting (Jira/Trello/Notion).

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably working with creative/art teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure and analyze large volumes of data.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools (Grafana, Tableau, or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency in Jira.
  • Clear understanding of the art production pipeline.
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to build effective communication across different departments (technical and non-technical).
  • Practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and stress resistance.
  • Russian — fluent.
  • English — Intermediate or higher.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in game development, animation, or digital production.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of advanced resource management tools.
  • Basic understanding of artistic disciplines.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team in a creative and dynamic environment.
  • Flexible working hours and remote/office work options.
  • Career growth and professional development opportunities.
  • A fun and inclusive company culture that celebrates diversity and creativity.
