We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Curriculum Team and manage the day-to-day production of an assigned portfolio of KodeKloud courses, typically 4–8 courses in flight at a time.
You’ll take courses from kick-off to launch, turning the Curriculum roadmap into clearly scheduled and tracked work in ClickUp. You’ll coordinate instructors, Learning Experience Designers, video editors and the Labs team to keep everyone moving against the same timeline and ensure courses launch on the agreed date and meet KodeKloud’s quality standards.
You’ll also be the first point of contact for course-level issues, including missing assets, review backlogs and learner-reported defects. When a course is at risk, you’ll identify the issue, bring the right people together and escalate to the Senior Project Manager with clear options.
This is a hands-on project management role. It does not include contract ownership, budget ownership or line management. Those responsibilities come at the next step of the Curriculum Production Management ladder as you demonstrate reliable delivery across a growing portfolio.
Education & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, content production or education technology.
- A project management certification such as CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, Google Project Management Certificate or similar is desirable, or you should be willing to obtain one within your first 12 months.
Core competencies
- Organisation & follow-through: You can manage many parallel tasks, owners and deadlines accurately without constant prompting.
- Attention to detail: You understand that you are the first line of quality assurance before content reaches learners.
- Technical fluency: You have working knowledge of DevOps and cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Linux and cloud platforms, enough to spot technical inaccuracies and have credible conversations with instructors.
- Production pipeline knowledge: You understand the basics of slide and video production and are comfortable working with Remotion, Vimeo and LMS publishing.
- Communication: You communicate clearly and courteously with external instructors and internal teams.
- Tooling: You’re comfortable working with ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace and Userback.
What this role does NOT do. To be clear about the scope of the role:
- You will not negotiate or issue instructor contracts.
- You will not line-manage staff.
- You will not hold final quality sign-off on a course; that responsibility sits with the Senior Project Manager.
- You will not own lab fixes.
- You will not author technical course content or deliver lectures.
- You will not personally produce slides or edit video.
Course project tracking
- Build and maintain the ClickUp project for every assigned course.
- Create and manage task lists covering instructor recording, slide and Remotion design, video editing, language checks, labs, LMS upload and launch.
- Keep owners, statuses and dates accurate so the Course Progress Overview remains reliable without anyone needing to chase for updates.
- Ensure no course status is more than one working day out of date.
Daily work allocation
- Assign daily tasks to Learning Experience Designers and video editors, including lecture ranges for design and demos for editing.
- Use the locked Remotion course template to structure production.
- Balance workload against launch dates and raise blockers during the daily sync.
- Sequence work according to launch priority, with Tier-0 courses taking priority.
- Ensure designers and editors are not left idle waiting for assignments.
Instructor coordination
- Confirm that recordings, audio, scripts and demo assets are uploaded and complete, and proactively follow up on gaps.
- Share Remotion previews with instructors for review.
- Coordinate studio bookings, intro and outro scripts, coming-soon page copy and instructor bios.
- Capture re-record lists following instructor or leadership reviews and drive them through to closure.
- Keep instructors unblocked within one working day and ensure re-record lists are closed before launch.
Content review & QA
- Review every lecture in your assigned courses against KodeKloud’s quality guidelines.
- Check for technical accuracy, template compliance, filler words, broken segments, blurred footage and narration quality.
- Route fixes to the right person and record the time spent on each review.
- Work towards zero known defects at launch, while tracking review cycle time and helping bring it down over time.
Launch execution
- Own the course launch checklist.
- Request the coming-soon page.
- Provide Product with course metadata, including category, tier, prerequisites and learning path.
- Upload courses to Vimeo and the LMS.
- Confirm lab readiness with the Labs team.
- Publish the launch announcement while crediting every contributor.
- Ensure courses launch on the agreed date with metadata, labs and announcements complete on day one.
Learner feedback & defect triage
- Monitor Userback and Support escalations for your assigned courses.
- Reproduce and classify reported issues as a patch, re-record, lab issue or no action.
- Raise the relevant ClickUp ticket and coordinate the fix through to publication.
- Respond to learners and track every issue to closure.
- Reported video and quiz issues should be resolved within one week, with every ticket receiving a learner response.
Reporting
- Provide weekly course-level status updates for the Curriculum Director’s leadership update.
- Contribute to the monthly output report covering lectures, videos and launches.
- Keep contribution records current in HiBob.
- Ensure reporting is accurate and timely, with no surprises at leadership reviews.
Cross-team collaboration
- Post lab requirements and deadlines to the Labs team.
- Provide Marketing with the assets needed for course launches.
- Support Product and Support teams with course information, including old-versus-new course comparisons.
- Keep hand-offs documented in ClickUp so that no launch is delayed because of a missed hand-off.
AI-assisted production
- Use the team’s approved production tooling, including Remotion Studio, edit automation and course-freshness reports, as part of the standard production pipeline.
- Identify and flag content that reads or sounds AI-generated before it reaches learners.
- Ensure assigned courses follow the standard production pipeline without compromising quality.
What decisions will you make? You’ll have ownership over day-to-day course execution, including:
- Deciding which tasks each designer or editor picks up and in what order to protect the nearest launch date.
- Deciding whether a learner-reported defect can be patched by the team, requires the instructor or Labs team, or needs to be escalated.
- Identifying when a course is at risk of missing its launch date and escalating it to the Senior Project Manager with clear options.
- 100% remote culture, work from anywhere, anytime.
- Be part of a mission-driven company helping millions upskill in DevOps, Cloud, and AI through hands-on learning.
- Opportunity to shape the voice of a fast-growing global brand.
- Collaborative, fast-paced, and creative work environment.
