  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Provides project management services including general administrative oversight, time accounting, financial tracking, cost projection, inventory management, and support.
  • Prepares and approves Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols and other technical documentation.
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, clients, and other departments involved in the project.
  • May be responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals.
  • May serve as the primary or assistant technical and management representative for the company, customer, and senior leadership.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience. Master's Degree preferred
  • PMP, or CAPM preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience working on projects/programs supporting Government Contracts

  • Excellent communication skills in working with technical and non-technical staff and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships among all levels of an organization and with customers
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Excellent organizational and task management skills. Must demonstrate the ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Experience interfacing with government customers to understand, interpret, and analyze requirements. Experience working on government contracts is strongly desired
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills. Must exhibit excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Must be capable of working in an environment that is demanding, sometimes stressful and requires independent thinking with minimal direct oversight by senior management
  • Must have strong MS Office, to include Project and SharePoint, skills
  • Experience with CMMI/AIMM processes and standards

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
