Saab, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Program Performance Management Analyst to support our rapidly growing organization.
This position is eligible for full-time remote.
This role would support analyzing program performance in compliance with contractual and government guidelines. Develops budgets, schedules, forecasts, and financial analyses; assesses and mitigates cost and schedule risks; and ensures accurate funding management and baseline control throughout the contract lifecycle.
Knowledge & Application: Develops professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Determines a course of action based on guidelines and modifies processes and methods as required.
Complexity & Problem Solving: Works on problems of moderate scope which are often varied and routine where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Applies learned techniques and contribute to analysis and investigation to solve problems. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Collaboration & Interaction: Builds productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions. Focus on providing standard professional advice and creating initial reports/analyzes for review by experienced team professionals.
Compensation Range:
$72,000-$90,000 for our Syracuse, NY, New York Remote, Orlando, FL, Remote Florida, Remote Arizona locations.
$86,400 - $108,000 for our Washington, DC Remote, Quincy, MA, locations.
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree and 2+ years related experience OR equivalent work experience
Effectively uses problem solving skills and analytical thinking to resolve business needs with technology solutions
Comfortable presenting content to customers (internal or external) and/or others
Ability to perform as an integral part of a team
Solid organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of project management processes and practices, including Earned Value
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Project and Excel
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Understanding of financial reporting practices and terminology
Understanding of manufacturing management processes and practices
Working knowledge of Deltek COBRA tool used for managing project costs and measuring performance, and analyzing budgets, actuals and forecasts
Understanding of Risk and Opportunity Management
