Role Summary

The Product Operations Specialist leads the full product lifecycle, from strategy and user research through execution and retrospective. This role manages the product development process, ensures products are valuable, usable, and feasible, and aligns deliverables with user needs and corporate strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Vision

  • Maintain comprehensive product roadmap aligned with strategic organizational priorities
  • Implement Product priorities and development based on the roadmap.
  • Execute directives and implement strategies aligned to organizational directives.
  • Implement spiritual growth strategy through software systems.

Product Development and Execution

  • Define and manage product development workflows.
  • Execute the product development workflow, including planning for new features.
  • Develop idea briefs to facilitate agile-based workflow
  • Conduct product planning and scheduling activities.
  • Translate functional client and user needs into product requirements and deliverables, including business objectives, user stories, dependencies, and scope.
  • Collaborate with the Tech Solutions to develop toward product vision and strategy.
  • Execute Bug Triage and Prioritization Workflow to address urgent issues.

User Research and Experience

  • Gather and analyze feedback from users across all touchpoints
  • Align product deliverables to user needs and feedback.
  • Assess and improve existing products to enhance user experience.

Management, Coordination, and Communication

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee Project budgets and support project budget development.
  • Manage specific administrative tools, including the HubSpot account and Survey Monkey admin.
  • Collaborate with SSO to manage Product Workflow documentation.
  • Align Product workflows to achieve playbook outcomes.
  • Develop and execute a crisis communication plan in collaboration with Response leadership.
  • Coordinate with Response and MarComm teams on product communications.

Launch, Metrics, and Reporting

  • Execute “go/no-go” release criteria for each product or feature.
  • Publish Product Release Notes and communicate content updates to stakeholders (OMs, Staff, Response, etc.).
  • Conduct data analysis and assess product performance against spiritual growth targets.
  • Track and report on ecosystem performance.
  • Organize, monitor, and report performance metrics for products against strategic objectives (KPI Analysis & Product Performance Reporting).
  • Gather and present Product Retrospectives, including lessons learned and next steps, cycling back to Product Strategy and Research.
  • Propose and execute A/B Testing based on Product Goals and Retrospectives.
  • Manage feedback integration into the product backlog.

Job Requirements

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
  • Experience translating user and business needs into clear product requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to improve products and workflows
  • Familiarity with agile development processes, product roadmaps, and backlog management
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in product operations, product management, project management, or a related field
  • Experience working with software development teams and agile workflows preferred
