AI Summary

The Product Operations Lead will build and scale an outcome-oriented product organization by optimizing processes, analytics, and communication frameworks. They will partner with cross-functional teams to drive product planning, roadmap execution, and data-driven decision-making.

Who You Are

You are an analytical, highly organized, and collaborative professional who thrives in building structure out of ambiguity. You enjoy solving complex problems, improving processes, and enabling teams to operate more effectively. You are equally comfortable working with data, developing scalable frameworks, and communicating with stakeholders across different functions and levels of leadership.

You are a proactive problem-solver who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You understand how to influence without direct authority, hold well-defined points of view, challenge teams to rethink their operating modelschallenge existing processes constructively, and bring cross-functional teams together around shared goals. You are adaptable, detail-oriented, and motivated by creating systems that help product teams make better decisions and deliver stronger business outcomes.

What You'll Do

As our Product Operations Lead, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will play a critical role in building and scaling an outcome-oriented product organization. You will own and optimize the processes, analytics, tools, and communication frameworks that enable our Product Managers to focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Support, you will improve how we plan, measure, communicate, and execute product initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to establish scalable operational foundations, improve product visibility, and drive greater alignment across our global organization. This is a build role. Much of what you will own does not exist yet in a durable form.

How You Will Succeed

  • Drive Product Analytics and Insights: Develop and maintain product health, customer adoption, and performance metrics that support data-driven product decisions and align with business objectives.
  • Build Dashboards and Reporting: Analyze product usage data using SQL and business intelligence tools such as Metabase, creating dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to Product teams and executive leadership.
  • Lead Product Planning Processes: Partner with the Chief Product Officer to coordinate quarterly OKRs, product roadmap planning, release schedules, and launch readiness, including planning around retail peak seasons and code freezes.
  • Optimize Product Operations: Establish and continuously improve scalable processes, workflows, and documentation across the Product organization, leveraging tools such as Aha!, Asana, and Guru.
  • Own Product Request Management: Develop and manage a centralized process for incoming product requests, including intake, prioritization, triage, service-level expectations, and stakeholder communication.
  • Strengthen Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the primary point of contact and roadmap subject matter expert for a key liaison between Product and customer-facing teams, ensuring stakeholders have accurate visibility into product priorities, roadmap developments, upcoming releases, and feature changes.
  • Enable Go-to-Market Teams: Partner with Sales Enablement, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support to ensure new product capabilities are clearly understood, effectively demonstrated, and accurately communicated to customers and prospects.
  • Champion the Voice of the Customer: Establish consistent processes for collecting, organizing, and synthesizing customer feedback, surveys, interviews, and product insights as a standing input toto inform product planning and prioritization, rather than an occasional exercise.
  • Drive Product Communication: Develop and maintain regular product updates, executive reporting, roadmap reviews, and knowledge-sharing practices that improve transparency and organizational alignment.
  • Build a Scalable Product Function: Identify operational gaps, introduce effective frameworks, and lead cross-functional improvements that increase efficiency, accountability, and the overall maturity of the Product organization.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in product operations, business operations, product analytics, or a similar cross-functional role within a technology organization.
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS, ecommerce technology, retail technology, or commerce platforms strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including hands-on experience querying databases, analyzing datasets, and translating findings into actionable business insights.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using business intelligence platforms such as Metabase, Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or managing digital product analytics platforms such as Userflow, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Experience supporting product planning cycles, OKR development, roadmap management, and cross-functional execution across distributed teams.
  • Proficiency with product knowledge, project management, and collaboration tools such as Aha!, Asana, Guru, Jira, or Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of product performance metrics, customer adoption, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes, manage competing priorities, and influence stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with incomplete or complex datasets.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
