As a Product Manager in Global Services Products division, you will lead the strategy, design, and execution of Akamai's expert-driven services portfolio spanning Application and API Security, Network Security, Cloud Compute, and Edge Delivery. You will build and manage high-impact service offerings such as managed security, managed digital monitoring, technical advisory, and cloud infrastructure operations designed to accelerate product adoption, maximize customer value, and drive long-term retention. Working at the intersection of business, operations, and technology, you will partner closely with Security & cloud Technology groups, engineering, sales, and global operations to simplify portfolio packaging, define pricing models, and execute strategic go-to-market initiatives.

As a Product Manager, you will collaborate within a team to define and drive the direction of Akamai's Global Services

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Creating Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), defining features with detailed acceptance criteria, and developing essential documentation while optimizing the product portfolio.
• Defining product roadmaps, scoping requirements, and overseeing the complete lifecycle for managed, advisory, and support services.
• Developing clear pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies to simplify complex offerings and maximize service attachment rates for the field.
• Partnering with platform product teams, architects, delivery teams, and broader services organization to align service offerings with core platform capabilities and customer needs
• Owning key operational metrics, revenue performance, and customer feedback to continually refine service value propositions and reduce churn

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have relevant experience in Product Management or experience in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or edge delivery and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or its equivalent.
• Possess expertise in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical field through practical experience or equivalent qualifications.
• Demonstrate Product Management experience with technical expertise to collaborate effectively on system design and trade-offs
• Analyze customer feedback, product usage, and market trends to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, define success metrics, and measure customer impact
• Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical abilities, effective communication, and expertise in managing relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to comprehend use cases, challenges, and desired outcomes effectively

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from CRC28,900,000 - CRC52,020,000/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
