AI Summary

You will own the product lifecycle for treasury and funds flow, driving discovery, roadmap development, and execution across banking and payment rails. You will act as the connective tissue between engineering, finance, and compliance to ensure reliable money movement for global payroll.

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to own treasury for our HCM (Human Capital Management) platform, the systems that move money reliably across currencies, banking partners, and borders so our global clients can trust that payroll lands correctly, every time. You will own execution across the full product lifecycle for treasury and funds flow, from discovery through delivery, working cross-functionally with engineering, finance/treasury operations, compliance, and go-to-market.

This is a role for someone who has done this before – You have owned a roadmap involving money movement, banking rails, or payments infrastructure, and you know how to turn ambiguity, and the real constraints of financial regulation, into a clear plan without.

You will report directly to our Head of Product.

What You'll Do

Product development

  • Drive discovery, market research, competitive analysis, and roadmap development across the treasury and funds-flow lifecycle, funding models, banking partnerships, payment rails, and FX
  • Own the product experience for billing, invoicing, credit memos, and payment application, working closely with finance and business operations
  • Translate strategy into clear, actionable requirements and user stories engineering can build from
  • Own product documentation (business cases, use cases, technical requirements, and expected ROI) with particular attention to compliance and risk implications
  • Make sure every release lines up with both customer needs and company goals, without compromising financial controls

Stakeholder engagement

  • Turn feedback from internal stakeholders (finance, treasury ops, compliance) and external customers into concrete prioritization decisions
  • Act as the connective tissue between engineering and the rest of the business, keeping treasury features aligned with market needs and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with engineering, QA, design, compliance, and banking partners to plan, build, and launch
  • Run Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews) and keep them useful, not performative
  • Work with QA to define testing strategy and protect release quality, especially around fund movement and reconciliation

Market awareness & research

  • Stay sharp on treasury, banking, and payments trends, regulatory shifts, customer pain points, and the competitive landscape
  • Use that knowledge to keep the roadmap a step ahead, not just reactive

Documentation & reporting

  • Keep clear, current documentation for project plans, timelines, requirements, and status
  • Communicate progress and learnings to stakeholders on a regular cadence
  • Develop external-facing content on treasury-related features and functionality for customers

What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management or a closely related role at a technology or SaaS company
  • A track record of owning the product lifecycle and shipping impactful B2B solutions, ideally involving payments, treasury, or money movement
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills. You will work fluidly across engineering, design, finance, and compliance teams
  • Comfort turning complex business and regulatory needs into clear technical requirements
  • Real experience in Agile environments, including hands-on sprint planning and backlog grooming
  • A customer-first mindset balanced with strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • A self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and fast pace
  • Experience in treasury, payments, fintech, or banking infrastructure is strongly preferred; HCM or enterprise software experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with billing, invoicing, AR, and pricing models (tiered pricing especially) in a B2B context
  • Exposure to ERP systems — ERPNext experience is a plus
