About the Role
As a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager, you’ll lead and optimize procurement and supply chain operations across strategic sourcing, vendor management, inventory planning, logistics, and reporting. You’ll drive cost efficiency, improve service levels, mitigate supply risks, and align procurement strategy with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and cost-saving initiatives
Lead RFP processes, supplier evaluations, vendor selection, and contract negotiations
Oversee vendor onboarding, qualification, performance monitoring, and supplier agreements
Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including demand planning, forecasting, inventory control, and logistics
Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
Monitor supply chain performance, identify risks or disruptions, and implement mitigation strategies
Analyze procurement and supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
Develop best practices, policies, and standard operating procedures
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders
Resolve escalated vendor issues, including pricing disputes, delivery delays, and service concerns
Manage procurement budgets and track cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives
Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and supply chain KPIs
What You’ll Need
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain management, logistics operations, vendor management, and contract management
Technical: Proficiency in procurement systems, ERP platforms, Microsoft Office, and supply chain reporting tools
Experience: Five or more years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain management, including strategic sourcing and vendor management
Preferred Systems: Experience with NetSuite ERP or supply chain systems strongly preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
Work Style: Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and focused on continuous improvement
