We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to own Creator Monetization at LinkedIn. This role will define the vision, strategy, and execution for how creators earn on our platform, across subscriptions, memberships, brand collaboration, etc. at global scale.

Creator Monetization is one of the most strategically important and high-visibility areas of our business. In this role, you'll shape how creators go from zero to sustainable income, building the products and systems that make earning on LinkedIn simple, rewarding, and trustworthy. You'll operate as a full-stack product builder, owning everything from problem definition and roadmap through execution, launch, and iteration.

You'll work closely with engineering, data science, design, and policy teams to build and scale monetization infrastructure and creator-facing features. You'll also partner with Legal, Finance, and Go-to-Market teams to ensure our solutions are effective, compliant, and built for the long term.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for creator monetization.
  • Partner with engineering, data science, and design to define and ship scalable monetization systems, including payment flows, earnings dashboards, discovery surfaces, experimentation frameworks, and new programs and products.
  • Build a deep understanding of creator needs, earning behaviors, and platform economics through qualitative research, experimentation, and data analysis.
  • Define clear problem statements, user stories, MVP scopes, and success metrics; measure and optimize impact against core creator and business KPIs.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for creator monetization, collaborating across PM, PMM, Payments, Legal, Finance, Policy, and Partnerships teams.
  • Drive go-to-market planning for new monetization features, ensuring creator adoption and clear internal alignment.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders from execution teams to senior leadership.
  • Evaluate build, buy, and partner decisions for key monetization capabilities; work with business development on ecosystem integrations where relevant.
  • Develop and track OKRs for key initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader platform and company objectives.
  • Stay sharp on trends in the creator economy, competitive monetization models, and emerging payment technologies and translate them into actionable opportunities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in a technology-related field  or equivalent experience.
  • 9+ years of experience in a product management or equivalent role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to synthesize and simplify complex technical subjects for technical, non-technical, partner and executive audiences alike
  • Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams. Experience working with a set of highly skilled engineers, data scientists, and designers.
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced environment with analytical skills and ability to execute complex product launches.
  • Passionate for building data driven products and experience in leveraging ML to increase impact
  • Experience with social, video, and/or creator products

Suggested Skills:

  • Zero to One products
  • AI-powered products
