As a Principal People Partner at ABC Fitness, you’ll serve as a strategic HR Business Partner to global leaders across Information Technology, Information Security, and Legal. While many of your senior stakeholders are based in the United States, the organizations you support span the U.S., Canada, Brazil, India, and Europe.

Based in Brazil, you’ll help leaders translate business priorities into thoughtful workforce, organization, and talent strategies across a complex global environment. You’ll advise on organization design, workforce planning, talent and succession, performance, employee relations, leadership effectiveness, and organizational change while helping create consistent people practices across geographies.

This is a highly influential individual-contributor role for an experienced HRBP who can operate independently, navigate ambiguity, balance global consistency with local considerations, and build trusted relationships with senior leaders across functions and regions.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with senior leaders across IT, Information Security, and Legal to translate business priorities into practical people, organization, and workforce strategies.
  • Advise leaders on organization design, workforce planning, role clarity, operating models, succession, talent development, performance, and retention.
  • Coach leaders through complex employee, team, and organizational matters using sound judgment, business context, and appropriate employment-law considerations.
  • Lead and support organizational change, including restructuring, role evolution, leadership transitions, and changes to ways of working across globally distributed teams.
  • Use workforce data, employee insights, and people analytics to identify organizational risks, talent trends, capability gaps, and opportunities to improve team effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development, Legal, Finance, and other People Partners to deliver coordinated, scalable people solutions.
  • Help leaders build high-performing, inclusive teams by strengthening leadership capability, succession pipelines, performance practices, and employee engagement.
  • Apply global People practices consistently while recognizing differences in local employment environments and escalating jurisdiction-specific matters to the appropriate internal or external experts.
  • Support evolving ways of working, including thoughtful adoption of AI-enabled tools, automation, and workflow changes that affect roles, capabilities, organization design, or employee experience.

What You'll Need

  • Significant progressive Human Resources experience, including substantial experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders in complex organizations.
  • Previous HRBP experience supporting a U.S.-based company and demonstrated familiarity with U.S. employment and labor law principles relevant to manager coaching, performance, employee relations, organizational change, and workforce decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior functional leaders and influence decisions without relying on formal authority.
  • Strong experience in organization design, workforce planning, talent management, succession, performance management, and organizational change.
  • Experience supporting geographically distributed or multinational teams across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Sound judgment in sensitive employee and organizational matters, with the ability to recognize when local legal, compliance, or employee-relations expertise is required.
  • Strong analytical capability and experience using workforce data and people insights to shape recommendations and decisions.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills across different cultures, functions, and leadership levels.
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguity, prioritize competing needs, and move between strategic advising and hands-on execution.
  • Ability to work from Brazil and maintain regular collaboration with U.S.-based leaders and globally distributed teams.

And It's Great to Have

  • HRBP experience supporting technology, cybersecurity, information technology, legal, risk, compliance, or similarly specialized corporate functions.
  • Experience in a global SaaS, technology, payments, or private-equity-backed organization.
  • Familiarity with Brazilian employment practices and experience working with employment requirements across additional jurisdictions.
  • Experience supporting organizational transformation, operating-model changes, or significant business growth.
  • Experience using people analytics, automation, or AI-enabled tools to improve HR decision-making, manager effectiveness, or employee workflows.

What Success Looks Like

  • Leaders across IT, Information Security, and Legal view you as a trusted, pragmatic advisor who improves the quality of organizational and talent decisions.
  • Workforce and organization plans are increasingly proactive, data-informed, and aligned to evolving business priorities.
  • Leaders have stronger succession, performance, talent, and organizational capabilities across their global teams.
  • Complex organizational and employee matters are addressed thoughtfully, consistently, and with appropriate consideration of local requirements.
  • Global People programs and practices are translated effectively into the realities of distributed teams across the U.S., Canada, Brazil, India, and Europe.

Location

This role is based in Brazil and supports globally distributed organizations across the United States, Canada, Brazil, India, and Europe. Because many senior functional leaders are based in the United States, regular working-hour overlap with U.S. stakeholders will be an important part of the role.
