Join our team as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner!
We're looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner who lives and breathes recruiting and knows how to spot top talent from a mile away. In this role, you'll own full-cycle recruitment for our Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and a variety of clinical, non-clinical, professional, and management roles across the organization.
You won't just be filling seats — you'll be building meaningful relationships, shaping our talent strategy, and helping Allied grow with the right people in the right roles.
What You'll Do:
- Partner up. Work hand-in-hand with HR, Managing Physicians, Practice Managers, and hiring leaders to understand staffing needs and craft smart recruitment and retention strategies.
- Own the full cycle. From sourcing and screening to behavioral-based interviewing, offer coordination, and pre-boarding — you'll guide candidates through every step with care and professionalism.
- Recruit top clinical talent. Focus primarily on Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants, while also supporting other key roles across the organization.
- Be the connector. Serve as the go-to liaison between candidates, practice leadership, hiring managers, onboarding, payroll, and credentialing partners.
- Get creative with sourcing. Leverage job boards, social media, professional networks, Boolean searches, referral sources, and online databases to keep our pipelines full and active.
- Team up with Marketing. Collaborate on healthcare recruitment campaigns and outreach strategies that get our brand in front of the right people.
- Build pipelines that last. Develop candidate pools for current openings, leaves, coverage needs, and future growth.
- Grow our network. Build relationships with educational institutions, residency programs, professional associations, and community organizations.
- Show up and stand out. Represent Allied at regional, state, community, and conference recruitment events.
- Keep things organized. Maintain accurate, up-to-date activity in our applicant tracking system and follow our recruitment processes consistently.
- Tell the story with data. Prepare recruitment reports that highlight pipeline health, sourcing trends, job progress, and opportunities to improve.
- Communicate with care. Deliver timely, customer-service-focused updates to candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Coach and consult. Advise hiring managers on sourcing strategy, candidate assessment, interviewing best practices, and offer considerations.
- Close the deal. Collaborate on offer negotiations, including salary proposals, benefits info, and final offer coordination.
- Think strategically. Review compensation recommendations with an eye on internal equity, role requirements, and market data.
- Handle the details. Coordinate reference checks, background checks, onboarding handoffs, and credentialing in partnership with HR and onboarding teams.
- Stay compliant. Ensure recruitment practices align with federal, state, and local employment laws and Allied's policies.
- Protect what matters. Maintain confidentiality of candidate, employee, compensation, and business information.
- Pitch in on projects. Support HR initiatives, process improvements, recruitment workflow enhancements, reporting, and other assigned duties.
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or a related field preferred — or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Recruiting chops: Progressive full-cycle recruitment experience, including sourcing, screening, behavioral-based interviewing, offer coordination, and use of online recruitment tools.
- Healthcare experience: Strongly preferred — especially recruiting for physician practices, clinical support, nursing, advanced practitioners, professional, or management roles.
- Physician/APP recruitment: Experience working with Managing Physicians, practice leadership, residency programs, professional networks, or clinical recruitment events is a big plus.
- A sharp eye for talent. You know how to assess, select, and present qualified candidates with confidence.
- Sourcing savvy. Comfortable with resume mining, job boards, social media, Boolean searches, professional networks, schools, and community sourcing.
- Relationship-builder. You connect easily with candidates, hiring managers, and partners — and you do it with a service-first mindset.
- Communication skills. You can consult, influence, and connect across written, electronic, phone, video, and in-person settings.
- Legal know-how. Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws, EEO requirements, and compliant recruitment practices.
- The soft skills: Strong judgment, problem-solving, analytical thinking, follow-through, and organizational skills.
- Tech fluency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams). Working knowledge of HRIS and ATS platforms — Workday, Doximity, Practice Link, Recruitics, LinkedIn, and Indeed — strongly preferred.
- Juggling skills. You can manage multiple projects, competing deadlines, and high-volume recruitment activity independently while playing well with the broader HR team.
- Travel-ready. Willing and able to travel to practice sites, career events, and educational institutions as needed.
- Bonus points for physician recruitment association certification or related recruiter credentials.
What Your Day Looks Like
You'll spend much of your time at a computer — connecting with candidates by phone, video, and email, managing ATS activity, and partnering with stakeholders. Expect occasional travel to Allied practice sites, recruitment events, career fairs, and networking opportunities across Long Island and the Metro Area. Some light standing, walking, and lifting may come with the territory at events.
Why Allied?
You'll join a collaborative HR team that values relationships, integrity, and impact. If you're a strategic recruiter who loves the thrill of finding the perfect candidate and making meaningful connections, we'd love to meet you.
