Role Description: We are seeking a high-performing PEO Sales Executive to drive new business development and expand our client base through strategic partnerships and direct sales. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing small to mid-sized businesses that can benefit from a comprehensive Professional Employer Organization (PEO) solution. The ideal candidate brings deep consultative sales expertise, strong knowledge of HR, benefits, and risk mitigation, and a proven ability to sell complex, multi-service solutions. This is a remote position.
Qualifications: • Drive full-cycle sales: prospecting, discovery, proposal development, and closing • Identify and target companies (typically 10–250 employees) that align with our ideal client profile • Conduct needs analysis across HR, payroll, benefits, compliance, and workers’ compensation • Present tailored PEO solutions that demonstrate ROI, cost savings, and risk reduction • Build a strong pipeline through referrals, networking & strategic partnerships (CPAs, Brokers) • Collaborate internally (HR, underwriting, implementation) for accurate proposals & smooth onboarding • Maintain CRM data integrity and sales activity reporting • Stay current on employment law, benefits trends, and competitive offerings
Required Qualifications: • 3+ years of B2B sales experience (PEO, payroll, benefits, or HR solutions strongly preferred) • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota • Experience selling consultative, multi-product solutions • Strong understanding of: -HR compliance and employment practices -Employee benefits structures -Payroll and tax fundamentals • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills • Self-starter with strong pipeline discipline and closing ability
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in PEO, ASO, or HCM sales • Established network of referral partners (brokers, CPAs, etc.) • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) • Knowledge of multistate compliance and co-employment model
Compensation & Benefits: • Base Salary $70,000 - $85,000 + Commission • Health, dental, vision benefits • 401(k) with company match • Generous PTO and paid holidays • Ongoing sales training and professional development
