Who We Are Looking For

As a Payment Posting Supervisor for WebPT, you will supervise and manage the cash posting process and staff to ensure payment posting, cash receipts, and remittance are processed timely and accurately.

 

What You’ll Be Doing As A Part of Our Team

  • Manage the day to day schedule and direction of Payment Posters.
  • Coordinate with members and internal managers for daily and month end balancing.
  • Coordinate with co-supervisor(s), direct reports, and other affiliated departments as needed to conduct all cash posting related business. Specifically, month end processes.
  • Coordinate with internal support resources for reporting issues.
  • Perform audits and provide feedback to staff.
  • Ensure protocols are followed that are conducive to a productive, streamlined, efficient, and effective work flow.
  • Assist in developing, writing, and implementing work procedures that promote growth with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain consistent review of posting and administrative status.
  • Supervise and manage staff. Supervision duties to include: performance management, training and development, hiring and placement, and disciplinary actions.
  • Handle escalated cash posting concerns, issues, and questions internally and/or from other departments.
  • Accurately and timely post revenue related A/R cash receipts and/or denials.
  • Convert payer-specific denial or payment codes into HIPAA compliant reject codes.
  • Balance each posting batch and participate in month end balancing.
  • Research, track, and trend payment discrepancies.
  • Communicate trends and/or items requiring attention to staff and upper management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

What You Should Have to Qualify

  • Three years of billing, collection, and/or posting experience in a Healthcare environment.
  • Two years of supervisory experience in a similar environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and various medical billing systems
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Post secondary education in accounting or finance
  • Able to effectively delegate work assignments fairly and appropriately.
  • Collaborate effectively with other management teams, as well as other groups and teams throughout the organization.
  • Able to accept accountability and demonstrate a willingness to seek solutions.
  • Awareness and understanding of budgets and/or financial goals.
  • Effective planning and organization to achieve productivity goals.
  • Strong mathematical, problem solving, and deductive logic aptitude.

 

 

Ideally, You Would Also Have These

  • Five years of billing, collection, and/or posting experience in a Healthcare environment.
  • Associates degree in accounting or business
