Location: Remote within the continental United States; RAINN is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
Schedule: (Eastern Time) Monday–Tuesday: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.; Wednesday: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.; Thursday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Compensation: $65,000 annually, consisting of a $63,000 base salary plus a $2,000 annual overnight shift differential.

About the Position
The Senior Shift Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring Shift Managers and hotline staff have the support, resources, and guidance needed to perform effectively while prioritizing staff wellbeing. This role strengthens hotline operations by proactively identifying and addressing staff and operational needs, supporting Shift Managers in day-to-day leadership, and promoting a consistent, supportive work environment.
In close collaboration with the NSAH Program Manager and fellow Senior Shift Managers, the Senior Shift Manager helps ensure policies, procedures, and operational expectations are communicated and implemented consistently across shifts. The role also identifies opportunities to strengthen processes, improve coordination, and support the overall effectiveness and continuity of hotline operations.
In alignment with RAINN’s three pillars: Support, Educate, and Prevent,the Senior Shift Manager fosters an environment that supports survivors and the staff who serve them, promotes ongoing learning and development across the hotline team, and strengthens practices that advance RAINN’s broader commitment to preventing sexual violence.

Provide quality assurance and oversight of services on the overnight shift
Support NSAH staff on all shifts
Ensure consistent policy implementation across the NSAH

RAINN's headquarters are based in Washington, DC. This position may be based regionally for someone whose residence is within the continental USA. Although this may be a remote role, it may require some periodic business travel throughout the continental US and to our DC offices for onsite meetings and workshops.
