MQ Architect OR MQ Integration Engineer

job Description

We are looking for an experienced MQ Architect / Integration Engineer with strong expertise in IBM MQ, IBM MFT, AWS, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable, and highly available integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement IBM MQ/MFT integration solutions

- Develop and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure

- Build highly available and scalable MQ environments

- Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform/IaC

- Develop Python scripts and automation solutions

- Implement security, monitoring, logging, and disaster recovery solutions

- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams on CI/CD and cloud integration

- Troubleshoot and optimize enterprise MQ and cloud environments

Requirements

• 10+ years of recent experience as an MQ Architect / Integration Engineer
• Strong expertise in IBM MQ and IBM MFT
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and DevOps
• Experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, ASG, ELB, SFTP, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and Lambda
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Terraform and Packer
• Knowledge of high availability, load balancing, and failover architectures
• Experience with Git, SVN, or other source control tools
• Strong Python scripting experience
• Knowledge of JSON, YAML, Boto3, and related technologies
• Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and secure software systems

Nice to Have

- Experience with Terraform, Packer, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Kubernetes

- AWS Certification and/or production AWS experience

- Experience designing and managing secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation

- Experience with automated build and system configuration tools
