As demand grows, we're looking for an SAP Technical Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in customer success and product excellence.  

About the Role

We are looking for a Middleware Associate to join our growing delivery team and help build and support integrations between enterprise systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who has a foundation in Java or .NET and wants to develop hands-on experience with middleware, system integrations and enterprise technology. You will work closely with experienced team members, including a dedicated mentor, while gradually taking ownership of integration activities and customer-facing responsibilities. Over time, you will become a trusted technical resource who can independently troubleshoot integration issues, support implementations and work directly with customers.

What You'll Do

• Support the design, configuration and implementation of docuflow middleware solutions
• Configure and maintain connections and integrations between enterprise systems
• Assist with developing and supporting system interfaces using middleware and integration technologies
• Troubleshoot interface, connectivity and integration issues
• Monitor integration flows and system performance and help identify potential issues
• Support deployments, upgrades and production incidents
• Assist with implementation and support projects across different customer environments
• Work with SAP, infrastructure and customer teams to understand technical requirements and resolve issues
• Participate in customer meetings and project discussions, initially in a supporting and learning capacity
• Manage assigned tasks across multiple projects and prioritize work based on project needs
• Maintain clear technical documentation and communicate issues, solutions and recommendations effectively
• Progress toward becoming a primary technical contact for customers and projects

What Skills You'll Have

• 0–2 years of experience in software development, system integration, middleware or a related technical field
• A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline
• Foundation in Java and/or .NET development
• Understanding of software development concepts, object-oriented programming and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand how different systems communicate and exchange data
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments at the same time
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment
• Ability to work effectively across different time zones, particularly European or Eastern or Atlantic Canada business hours

Nice to Have

You don't need to have experience in everything below. We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation who is motivated to learn.

• Experience with REST and SOAP web services
• Exposure to APIs, XML, JSON or other data exchange formats
• Familiarity with cloud integration technologies such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Exposure to cloud and on-premises integration architectures
• Understanding of SSL certificates, authentication and connectivity troubleshooting
• Experience with middleware or integration platforms
• Exposure to performance monitoring and optimization
• Experience supporting software deployments or production environments
• Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems
• Previous experience with system-to-system integrations
• Knowledge of enterprise document management or archiving solutions
• German language skills is an asset but not a requirement

This is a role designed to grow with you: from learning the fundamentals of middleware and integration to becoming an independent integration specialist. • Develop: Gain hands-on experience supporting projects, implementations and customer environments.
• Own: Progress toward independently managing integration activities, troubleshooting issues and supporting customers.
• Grow: Take on increasing technical and customer-facing responsibility as your expertise develops.
