Lead client discovery and design scalable ERP solutions, translating business needs into architecture, functional designs, technical specifications, and implementation plans. Solution Architect ERP Suites is seeking Solution Architects to design and lead the technical solutions behind our client engagements. In this technical role, you will be responsible for the architecture of JD Edwards solutions, how systems are configured, extended, integrated, and deployed, and for ensuring those designs are implemented correctly through delivery. Success in this role requires strong technical and functional knowledge. You must understand the business processes and the technology behind them so you can create, review, explain, and defend effective solutions. Solution Architects at ERP Suites own the solution lifecycle from discovery and requirements definition through architecture design, proposal development, technical design oversight, implementation guidance, and post-project review.
Lead discovery sessions to understand client business processes, objectives, challenges, and technical requirements.
Translate business needs into scalable, practical solution architectures and functional designs.
Design integrated solutions across enterprise platforms, including JD Edwards, Salesforce, AI technologies, and related business applications.
Evaluate solution alternatives by considering business value, implementation complexity, risk, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
Produce solution architecture documents, workflow diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
Client Engagement & Presales
Serve as a trusted advisor during presales engagements, helping clients identify the best solution for their business needs.
Facilitate discovery workshops and requirements sessions with executives, business users, and technical stakeholders.
Present solution recommendations with clear business and technical justification.
Support proposal development, project estimation, and implementation planning.
Set realistic expectations regarding project scope, timelines, costs, and delivery approach.
Delivery Leadership
Maintain architectural ownership throughout project delivery to ensure solutions are implemented as designed.
Collaborate with project managers, consultants, developers, and client teams to resolve design questions and implementation challenges.
Identify risks, technical constraints, and scope changes early, recommending practical solutions when adjustments are needed.
Review implementation progress to ensure alignment with architectural standards and client objectives.
Participate in post-implementation reviews and continuously improve delivery methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in one or more JD Edwards functional areas, including supply chain, distribution, finance, or accounting.
Working knowledge of JD Edwards technical architecture.
Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs that development teams can use to build and implement solutions.
Experience leading discovery sessions and gathering requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
Ability to estimate implementation effort, identify technical risks, and recommend practical delivery approaches.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into effective system designs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and influence decisions through collaboration.

However, we will consider candidates with comparable technical solution architecture experience in another ERP platform: such as Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or NetSuite. Consulting or professional services experience supporting multiple concurrent client engagements.
Experience across both presales solution architecture and post-sales implementation.
Experience with JD Edwards Orchestrator, AIS, or automation and low-code extension frameworks.
Experience with JD Edwards upgrades, code-current programs, retrofit strategy, or cloud migrations.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and enterprise application infrastructure, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Experience architecting solutions that combine JD Edwards with adjacent platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle ERP Cloud, or reporting and analytics tools.
Experience applying AI technologies, automation platforms, or modern integration frameworks within an enterprise environment.
Certifications in Oracle, JD Edwards, cloud platforms, or enterprise architecture. ERP Suites supports professional development and will contribute toward relevant certifications for the right candidate.
