About Thrive

Thrive Mental Health runs a virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults who need more support than weekly therapy. We are based in Boca Raton, serve adults in eight states, and are accredited by The Joint Commission for Behavioral Health Care and Human Services. Florida is our largest state and our busiest program. Thrive is privately owned, with no venture capital and no private equity.

The schedule, up front

• Groups: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 6:00 to 9:00 PM Eastern. These evenings are the core of the role, because they are the hours working adults can attend.

• Individual sessions with the same clients, mostly on Tuesday, at times set with each client.

• Fridays: optional family sessions.

• The rest of your hours are flexible, built around your groups and your clients and set with Anna.

• If three evenings a week won't work for you, this role is not the right fit, and that's completely okay.

What you'll do

• Lead virtual group therapy for adults, using CBT, DBT, MBT and trauma-informed approaches.

• See the same clients one to one, so you own the therapeutic relationship from start to finish.

• Write notes the same day: AI drafts the note right after each session; you review, edit and sign it.

• Join weekly case consultation and team training.

• While your schedule is filling, take admissions calls with new clients.

A platform built for clinicians

Most mental health software was built to get a claim paid. Thrive built its own clinical and operations platform so clinicians spend their time with clients, not paperwork.

• Notes in minutes: AI drafts the session note on our template right after the session. You review, edit and sign it, and every clinical decision stays yours.

• Your day, ready when you log in: a morning briefing shows your sessions, who needs follow-up and what is due, and a care queue keeps the next step for each client in one place.

• The back office runs itself: scheduling, reminders, insurance checks and billing are handled by the platform and the operations team, not by you.

• Ask and it gets fixed: since July, 84% of staff requests to fix or change the software were done within 24 hours (median 2.3 hours). Clinicians shape the tool they use every day.

What you won't have to do

• Outreach. It is optional. Some clinicians enjoy building referral relationships and earn a bonus tied to each result. If that isn't you, clinical work is the whole job. New clinicians do no outreach in their first 90 days unless they want to.

Supervision that counts

Every week you get individual supervision with Anna Green, LMHC, our Chief Clinical Officer. Scheduled and one to one, never group or "as available". Anna is your board-qualified supervisor from January 2027, so those hours count toward your LMHC, and there is no outside supervisor to find or pay for.

How we support you

• Breaks and notes time blocked on your calendar. Nobody books over them.

• Defined working hours and no messages after hours. Anything urgent about a client goes to your supervisor.

• A one-on-one platform walkthrough in your first week.

• Check-ins with Anna every two weeks for your first two months.

• Thrive reimburses your own therapy, up to $150 a session, plus our health plan's Employee Assistance Program.

Compensation and benefits

• $55,000 to $65,000 a year, depending on experience, plus a quarterly clinical bonus.

• W-2 employee with salary, not paid per session.

• Health, dental and vision, with Thrive covering 80% of premiums.

• 401(k) with match.

• 15 days PTO plus 11 paid holidays.

• $750 a year for CEUs, plus tuition reimbursement.

Who you are

• A Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI), or registered within 60 days.

• Living in Florida, set up to work from home over secure video.

• Comfortable holding a virtual group: drawing out the quiet person, redirecting the dominant one, sitting with silence.

• Reliable with a fixed evening group schedule and same-day notes.

• Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related counseling field.
