Mechanical Sprinkler Engineer - Covering the South of England

Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Mechanical Sprinkler Engineer specifically covering the South of England.

Basic Salary – £24-30,000 subject to experience

Overtime, Travel Time & Commission circa £35-40,000

Marlowe Fire & Security’s Service Engineer’s

Carry out servicing and remedial works of Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, Dry/Wet Risers in accordance with the latest British and EN standards on small and large projects works across the UK, ensuring all works are to a high standard within Health & Safety and Quality company requirements.

  • Undertake Mechanical Servicing and Remedial works of Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, Fire Risers and Sprinkler Systems
  • Forward plan the parts requirements on installation works, placing parts orders, liaising with site management and coordinating with other trades.
  • Work both independently and as part of the wider Sprinkler Department on installation and service works.
  • Provide information to quote to upgrade or modify these systems in relation to manufacturers and industry guidelines and then discussing these requirements with new and existing customers. The company will provide initial training for these elements of your role and continued ongoing support.
  • You will receive field support and training for all disciplines you undertake.

For this specific opportunity, we are looking for candidates who offer:

  • At least 2-3 years experience in a Sprinkler Engineer position/Mechanical pipe installation.
  • A working practice of BS9251.
  • Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in the field independently.
  • Flexible to work across single and multiple site locations.
  • Full Driving Licence.
