The Account Manager will own the full client lifecycle, converting leads into long-term partnerships and driving growth within the nuclear sector. They are responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing contract performance, and collaborating with the recruiting team to ensure service delivery goals are met.
MATRIX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this position, they can turn qualified leads into lasting client partnerships and ensure exceptional service delivery across some of the most critical projects and facilities in the country.
They will own the full client lifecycle, from converting qualified leads into new clients to managing long-term relationships and driving growth within the nuclear sector. They will be a part of and collaborate with our Home Office Team to deliver top talent to utilities, EPCs, and OEMs, ensuring that every engagement meets the highest level of value to our clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBLITIES:
Convert qualified leads into long-term, high-value clients through strategic and consultative engagement
Develop customized proposals and RFP responses aligned with client needs and MATRIX capabilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and build trusted, long-term partnerships
Conduct regular meetings and site visits to monitor client satisfaction and deployed employee performance
Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing accounts (expansion across business lines/geographies)
Oversee contract performance to ensure deliverables, milestones, budgets, and forecasted revenue targets are met
Manage cost tracking, forecasting, and profitability for assigned accounts
Negotiate renewals, extensions, and contract modifications as needed
Collaborate with Recruiting to meet staffing and service delivery goals
Ensure timely invoicing, documentation accuracy, and performance reporting
Provide accurate account reports, forecasts, and updates to leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent verbal communication skills — candidate must be articulate, polished, and outgoing, with strong client-facing presence and relationship-building ability
5+ years of experience in nuclear energy, power generation, transmission & distribution, renewable energy, data centers, and/or industrial infrastructure markets
Established professional network within one or more of the listed sectors above
Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and oversee project delivery
Strong communication, negotiation, and client engagement skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred)
Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as required
