Marketing Manager

Location: Remote / Latin America (Preferred)

About Us

Checker is the global liquidity network for stablecoins. We enable regulated financial institutions—such as banks, Payments Service Providers (PSPs), remittance providers, and FX brokers—to adopt stablecoins and scale their operations globally by plugging into our network.

As we scale, we’re looking for an exceptional leader who understands the unique opportunities and challenges of bringing crypto payment solutions to this dynamic market.

We are a global-first company. Our core team is based on the East Coast of the U.S., with colleagues in Europe and Asia. We come from trading, treasury, operations, and engineering backgrounds from Wall Street hedge funds, large crypto institutions, and blockchain technology startups.

At Checker, our culture drives everything we do. We are true partners to our customers, meeting them where they are. We are at the forefront of fintech, so we approach every challenge with a mindset to “adapt and overcome.” You’ll thrive here if you excel in fast-paced environments and strive to make an impact.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Marketing Manager, preferably based in LATAM, to localize and scale our go-to-market across Latin & South America.

You’ll be Checker’s first dedicated marketer, collaborating with leadership and sales to grow Checker’s partnerships with scaled crypto apps, neobanks, fintechs, and regional banks.

This is a full-stack role:

Refine target account lists

Shape the narrative for the region

Run the mix—events, content, partner marketing, market-specific activations, product marketing and sales collateral, paid campaigns, and PR

As we scale from hundreds to thousands of customers, we need someone who can create foundational sales collateral, implementation guides, and customer success stories that turn complex on-chain payment infrastructure into clear, concise value propositions.

You’ll operate as an IC at first while building the foundation:

Competitive research

Localized messaging

Playbooks

Repeatable programs

Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to hire specialized freelancers, agencies, and full-time staff.

What You’ll Do

Regional GTM & planning

Build the LATAM marketing plan tied to pipeline and revenue targets; define objectives, budgets, and quarterly calendars

Target account strategy

Partner with BD leadership to refine ICPs and named account lists; run ABM campaigns and outreach plays by segment (exchanges, neobanks, fintechs, banks)

Partner & field marketing

Design co-marketing with strategic partners (announcements, case studies, webinars, in-person events); equip BD with region-ready plays

Localization & product marketing

Translate and adapt messaging, proof points, one-pagers, pricing narratives, and demos for local buyers; maintain a regional message house

Content for the region

Produce market-specific explainers, regulatory primers, and customer stories that educate enterprise buyers on on-chain payments

Events & activations

Own LATAM event strategy (flagship conferences, roadshows, private roundtables); drive pre-/during-/post-event programs and measurable ROI

Comms & PR

Coordinate regional PR and earned moments with HQ comms and agencies

Enablement

Build regional sales decks, talk tracks, objection handling, and case studies

Agency & vendor management

Source and manage regional specialists (events, creative, PR, translators, etc.)

What We’re Looking For

7–10 years in B2B marketing, with meaningful experience in LATAM fintech, payments, or adjacent infrastructure

Comfortable starting from first principles, creating clarity, and shipping programs solo before scaling

Strong grasp of ABM and how marketing fuels enterprise deals; able to set KPIs and own outcomes

Ability to translate technical concepts (stablecoins, on-chain payments, APIs, compliance) into clear value for executives and product leaders

Full professional proficiency in Spanish; Portuguese strongly preferred

Strong written skills for localization

Practical fluency with CRM and marketing automation tools, analytics, and AI-driven content or translation workflows

Based in LATAM (or ability to frequently travel to the region)

Willing to travel ~25–40% for partners and events

What We Offer

Competitive compensation

Flexible remote work arrangement

Travel to global team gatherings and industry events
