Looking for Philippines-based candidates

Job Role: Marketing & Growth Specialist

Compensation range: $1,800 AUD - $2,200 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our company helps organisations create safer, healthier and more respectful workplaces.

We partner with organisations across Australia to deliver engaging, facilitator-led programs in Respectful Behaviours, Sexual Harassment Prevention, Workplace Bystander Intervention and Psychosocial Safety, as well as keynote presentations delivered by our founder.

We are a small, supportive team of people who care deeply about the quality of our work and the difference it makes. As we grow, we are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Marketing & Growth Specialist to help us strengthen our brand, improve our marketing systems and build a consistent pipeline of high-quality enquiries.

Role Overview: This is a hands-on marketing execution role with opportunities to contribute ideas and take increasing ownership over time.

Working closely with the team, you will turn marketing priorities into well-executed campaigns. You will create content, coordinate campaigns, build landing pages and lead-nurture sequences, manage our marketing systems, nurture relationships with current and previous clients, and use performance data to continually improve our results.

The central purpose of this role is to help the company attract and convert new ideal-fit organisations, nurture longer-term opportunities, and generate repeat and expanded work from current and previous clients. The focus is on meaningful business growth, not simply producing more marketing activity.

You will not be expected to create our entire marketing strategy alone or be an advanced specialist in every marketing discipline. We will provide strategic direction and access specialist support where appropriate. We are looking for someone who can understand the commercial objective, use sound judgement and reliably take work from idea through to completion.

We actively embrace AI and modern marketing technology. We want someone who knows how to use these tools to work efficiently while applying human judgement, checking accuracy and maintaining a credible, consistent to the company’s voice.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaigns and Content

  • Coordinate and execute B2B marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, email, websites and other relevant digital channels.
  • Create clear and engaging content, including LinkedIn posts, email campaigns, social media, website articles, landing-page copy and downloadable resources.
  • Repurpose existing presentations, webinars, videos and thought leadership into useful marketing content.
  • Maintain a practical marketing calendar and ensure agreed campaigns are delivered consistently and on time.
  • Learn and apply the SmartCulture brand voice across all written and visual communications.

Lead Generation, Client Nurture and Re-engagement

  • Build and improve landing pages, lead magnets, email nurture sequences and marketing funnels.
  • Support campaigns designed to attract organisations that fit SmartCulture's ideal-client profile.
  • Develop thoughtful nurture activity for longer-term opportunities and prospects who are not yet ready to buy.
  • Develop and manage campaigns that keep SmartCulture connected with current and previous clients.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat bookings, additional programs and broader organisation-wide engagements.
  • Create appropriate re-engagement campaigns for past clients and inactive opportunities.
  • Maintain useful client segments and communication schedules in Pipedrive and Brevo.
  • Work with the team to identify timely follow-up opportunities based on previous programs, client needs and emerging workplace priorities.
  • Ensure client communications remain useful and relationship-focused rather than overly promotional.
  • Help improve the journey from initial enquiry through to qualified opportunity.

CRM, Automation and Marketing Systems

  • Maintain accurate marketing and lead data in Pipedrive.
  • Build and improve workflows across Pipedrive, Brevo, PandaDoc and other systems.
  • Create and/or design practical automations and integrations using Make or similar tools.
  • Monitor workflows, troubleshoot issues and document important processes.
  • Look for sensible ways to reduce manual administration and improve follow-up consistency.

Website, Digital Marketing and Reporting

  • Create and update pages using WordPress and Elementor.
  • Implement basic SEO, AI-search and website-conversion improvements.
  • Support the creation, monitoring and ongoing optimisation of Google Ads campaigns and associated landing pages.
  • Track campaign and funnel performance, including lead quality, not only clicks, reach or engagement.
  • Prepare clear, concise reports that explain what is working, what is not and what should change.
  • Work with external specialists when more advanced technical expertise is required.

Brand and Creative Support

  • Create polished, on-brand graphics and marketing collateral using Canva or similar tools.
  • Support basic video editing and short-form content creation using tools such as Descript.
  • Maintain consistent branding, quality and professionalism across marketing channels.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience executing B2B marketing campaigns from planning through to launch and review.
  • Excellent written English, grammar and copywriting skills, with the ability to write naturally for an Australian professional audience.
  • Experience creating content for LinkedIn, email, social media, websites and landing pages.
  • Experience building or managing marketing funnels, lead magnets and email nurture sequences.
  • Confidence using email marketing platforms such as Brevo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign or HubSpot.
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing lead data; Pipedrive experience is preferred.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Make or similar.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and page builders such as Elementor.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, website optimisation and marketing analytics.
  • Experience creating professional graphics in Canva or similar software.
  • Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to improve productivity while maintaining accuracy, originality and brand quality.
  • Strong organisation and project-management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and work independently in a remote environment.
  • A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail and genuine curiosity about new technology and better ways of working.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience marketing professional services, consulting, workplace training or another trust-based B2B service.
  • Experience supporting longer, multi-stakeholder B2B buying journeys.
  • Experience creating, monitoring or optimising Google Ads campaigns.
  • Strong visual-design capability and an eye for branding, layout and communication.
  • Basic video-editing and short-form content experience, ideally using Descript.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
  • A qualification in marketing, communications or a related field; practical capability and results are more important than formal qualifications.

The Person We Are Looking For

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Enjoy both creative marketing and the systems that make marketing work.
  • Can take a clear brief, ask sensible questions and carry the work through to completion.
  • Think about audience, lead quality and business outcomes, not just the volume of content produced.
  • Are comfortable receiving feedback and refining your work.
  • Communicate early when priorities are unclear or something is at risk.
  • Use AI thoughtfully rather than relying on unedited, generic output.
  • Enjoy working in a small team where your contribution is visible and important.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
