The role involves defining and executing country-specific marketing strategies and lead-generation plans for the Nigerian market. You will also coordinate the marketing team, manage campaigns, and conduct market research to support business development.
The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and creative professional to lead and coordinate our fast-growing marketing function for the Nigerian market. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and international environment and take your career to the next level!
\nDefine and create country-specific marketing strategies
Develop and implement demand and lead-generation marketing & rollout plans for the Nigerian market
Launch marketing campaigns as well as evaluate success and deliverables based on KPIs
Assist the Marketing and the Business Development functions to carry out market research during new region penetration stage, in respect to each country’s ethics, culture, customs, etc.
Provide support for marketing events and exhibitions as required
Assist in the ongoing marketing activities as well as support the marketing team and other regional teams as necessary
Coordinate the marketing team and handle relevant delegated projects
Stay on top of current trends and best practices
Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the Business Development Manager
Degree in a marketing, advertising, communications or a business-related field
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
Deep understanding of the Nigerian market
Native Hausa or Yoruba speaker and excellent knowledge of English
Solid knowledge of marketing analytics and metrics features
Strong digital marketing skills
Strong project management skills will be considered an advantage
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised and ability to multitask
