Position : Marketing & Lead Qualification Manager

Salary : NZD 1,000 to 2,000 (31,000 - 72,000 Php)

Working Hours & Conditions : Monday to Friday NZ Business Hours

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

The Client is a growing multi-brand business operating across residential and commercial heating, cooling, electrical, solar, security and HVAC products and services. The group includes Ambient Electrical, HVAC Air, Control Comfort, solar and security businesses, nationwide heat-pump parts distribution and manufacturing, and Unico—a specialist US ducted HVAC system. The local business services Hamilton, Auckland and the wider Waikato, while the broader network operates nationwide with approximately 40 staff and 14 contractors.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a commercially minded, confident Marketing & Lead Qualification Manager to generate quality enquiries and convert them into quote-ready opportunities. This is not a purely digital marketing role. A key part of the position involves speaking with prospective customers by phone, understanding their requirements and identifying whether each enquiry represents a genuine commercial opportunity. The successful candidate must be an excellent verbal communicator who can build rapport quickly, ask effective questions and confidently guide conversations. They will manage the full journey from campaign creation through to lead qualification and handover.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital Marketing and Paid Advertising

  • Plan, launch and optimise lead-generation campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Manage a monthly paid-media budget of approximately NZD 1,000 to 2,000, allocating spend toward the brands, services, regions and audiences most likely to generate qualified opportunities.
  • Actively manage keyword research, local SEO and Google Business Profiles across the group.
  • Monitor keyword rankings, paid and organic search performance, and visibility by service and location.
  • Identify where search visibility needs to improve and make practical recommendations or website updates that generate more relevant enquiries.
  • Test audiences, search terms, messaging, creative, offers, landing pages and calls to action.  Track spend, cost per lead, lead quality and downstream sales outcomes, then adjust campaigns based on commercial return rather than lead volume alone.

Content and Campaign Delivery

  • Create and schedule organic social content, including regular Facebook posts, using supplied photography and video assets.
  • Write clear customer-facing copy for paid advertisements, landing pages, email campaigns and sales communications.
  • Turn technical product and service information into accurate, accessible content for residential and commercial audiences.
  • Maintain an organised content library and repurpose commissioned photo and video assets across brands and campaigns.
  • Coordinate campaign priorities with Dan, leadership, sales and operations, taking account of seasonal demand, capacity and geographic coverage

CRM Pipeline and Lead Qualification

  • Own the day-to-day use of Lexi/LAXXY or the current CRM, including lead capture, pipeline stages, notes, tasks, allocation and follow-up.
  • Assess the current CRM setup and make practical improvements to pipeline visibility, data quality, automation and reporting.
  • Respond promptly to inbound enquiries and speak with prospects by phone to understand their needs, location, urgency, budget, project scope and readiness to proceed.
  • Apply the agreed qualification criteria, including the existing four-out-of-five approach where relevant, and use sound judgement to distinguish genuine opportunities from low-quality enquiries.
  • Hand qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales, quoting or technical person with complete notes, a clear status and an agreed next action.
  • Follow up consistently so viable opportunities do not stall, and use objections and lead-quality patterns to improve future campaigns

Email Marketing and Database Management

  • Create targeted email campaigns for services, upgrades, maintenance and seasonal offers.
  • Segment customer and prospect databases by brand, region, customer type, interest, and pipeline stage where appropriate.
  • Build simple nurture and re-engagement activities that support the sales team and create repeat or cross-sell opportunities.

Reporting and Commercial Insight

  • Produce a concise monthly report for Dan and the executive team using plain language and a small set of decision-useful metrics.
  • Report by brand and campaign on advertising spend, leads generated, cost per lead, qualification rate, response time, pipeline value where available, quote conversion and sales outcomes.
  • Explain what changed, what is working, what is not working and the specific actions recommended for the following month.
  • Use CRM and campaign data to identify the best-performing services, locations, offers, audiences and creative.

What Success Looks Like

  • A consistent flow of commercially valuable leads within the agreed advertising budget.  Fast, professional lead response and confident qualification conversations in clear spoken English.
  • A reliable CRM pipeline with accurate records, disciplined follow-up and no ambiguity about ownership or next steps.
  • Improved conversion from initial enquiry to qualified opportunity, quote and sale.  Regular organic content and paid campaigns delivered across the group’s priority brands.
  • Monthly reporting that gives non-marketing leaders a clear view of performance and the decisions required.
  • Increasing knowledge of HVAC, technical products and the customer problems each business solves.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential

  • Professional-level written and spoken English, with the confidence to handle customer calls and write customer-facing content.
  • Hands-on experience in digital, performance or growth marketing, including Google Ads and Meta lead generation campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, keyword research, website content and conversion-focused landing pages.
  • Experience managing leads, pipeline stages and follow-up activity in a CRM.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to evaluate campaign performance using lead quality and sales outcomes.
  • Ability to create clear content for organic social media, paid campaigns and email.
  • Strong organisation, initiative and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several brands and priorities independently.
  • Evidence of relevant campaign or content work through a portfolio, case studies or performance examples.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in lead qualification, inside sales, appointment setting or another customer-facing sales role.
  • Experience with email marketing, marketing automation and customer databases.  Experience in HVAC, trades, construction, electrical, solar, security, home services, distribution or technical products.
  • Experience marketing multi-location or nationwide businesses to both consumers and businesses.
  • Basic graphic design and video-editing capability, and confidence working from professionally commissioned raw assets.
  • Familiarity with Lexi/LAXXY or a similar CRM.

Personal Attributes

  • A clear, confident and credible communicator who builds rapport quickly.  Commercially focused and interested in revenue outcomes, not vanity metrics.
  • A fast learner who can absorb technical information, ask sensible questions and explain it simply.
  • Proactive and resourceful, with the judgement to act independently and the discipline to keep others informed.
  • Practical, organised and comfortable working across multiple brands, stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Open to coaching and able to turn regular planning sessions and feedback into action.
