Marketing and Communications Coordinator Purpose-led programs, impact storytelling and community engagement
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports marketing and communications for our client’s global charitable work, with an initial focus on Australia and the United States.
This role creates and coordinates content that communicates our client’s mission, community impact and human stories, and supports campaigns, fundraising, partnerships and key initiatives that build awareness and engagement.
The position reports to the Marketing Manager and works closely with program and other relevant stakeholders. The role must balance compelling storytelling with accuracy, dignity and safeguarding considerations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and coordinate content for websites, email, social media, newsletters, campaign materials, impact updates, fundraising initiatives and partner communications.
Turn program information, outcomes, interviews and approved field material into clear, respectful stories that demonstrate impact and reinforce the client’s mission and purpose.
Support campaign planning and delivery for fundraising, awareness, education, partnerships, events and other priority initiatives.
Maintain an editorial calendar, coordinate inputs and approvals, and keep content delivery on schedule.
Support communications across donor, supporter, partner and community journeys, including awareness, engagement, participation, fundraising and post program communication.
Coordinate approved images, video, testimonials, statistics and case studies within the organisation’s digital asset library
Publish and update content through website, email and social platforms, applying brand, accessibility and quality standards.
Support partnership and community engagement materials, including toolkits, presentations, event collateral and post-program communications.
Track content, campaign, fundraising and engagement indicators, maintain routine reports and recommend practical improvements.
Work with program teams to verify facts, permissions, names, locations and impact claims before publication.
Support general marketing administration, supplier coordination and other priority communications as required.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, communications, content or digital campaign coordination.
Excellent written English and strong editing skills, with the ability to adapt content for donors, partners, schools, communities and general audiences.
Demonstrated experience creating content for web, email and social channels; basic visual-content capability using tools such as Canva is expected.
Strong coordination skills, including editorial calendars, briefs, approvals, deadlines and stakeholder follow-up.
Experience with nonprofit, fundraising, community, education, international development, sustainability or purpose-led communications is highly regarded.
Awareness of ethical storytelling, consent, privacy and respectful representation of communities is desirable.
Working knowledge of CMS, email marketing, social scheduling, analytics and project management tools.
A portfolio or work samples demonstrating polished writing, digital content and campaign support.

We Are Offering:
A competitive salary in the range of P42,000 to P58,000 per month, aligned with skills, experience and qualifications.
The role will work a schedule aligned with Australian and/or Philippine business hours. US working hours are not required. Some flexibility will be required from time to time to accommodate meetings, presentations and other business activities.
