Overview

The Senior Brand Design Lead is responsible for developing high-quality, strategically driven creative that brings the Cotiviti brand to life across a wide range of internal and external touchpoints. This role combines exceptional visual design skills with strong conceptual thinking to create engaging, on-brand experiences that support business objectives and strengthen market differentiation.

 

A member of the Creative Services team, this role will closely with Brand Strategy, Digital, Product Marketing, Communications, Sales, and executive stakeholders. The Senior Brand Designer will lead the design and execution of integrated creative across digital, print, presentations, campaigns, sales enablement, social media, events, motion graphics, and executive communications.

 

This position requires a highly versatile designer who thrives in a collaborative environment, can independently manage projects from concept through execution, and consistently delivers thoughtful, polished creative across multiple mediums. This position will have 2 direct reports initially, with the possibility of expansion as the team grows.

Responsibilities

Brand Design and Creative Development

  • Design and develop compelling visual solutions that support enterprise brand, marketing, sales, and communications initiatives.
  • Translate complex business, healthcare, and technology concepts into engaging visual storytelling.
  • Ensure all creative aligns with Cotiviti's brand standards while maintaining a high level of design quality and craftsmanship.
  •  Contribute creative ideas and concepts that elevate campaigns, programs, and brand experiences.

 

Integrated Creative Execution

  • Design across multiple formats, including digital, website, social media, presentations, events, print collateral, infographics, email, motion graphics, and executive communications.
  • Develop high-impact executive presentations and sales materials that effectively communicate strategic business messages.
  • Create visual assets that support product launches, campaigns, thought leadership, recruiting, and internal communications.
  • Produce light animation, motion graphics, and multimedia assets as appropriate.

 

Collaboration and Creative Excellence

  • Partner closely with copywriters, strategists, UX/UI designers, cross-functional team members, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated creative solutions.
  • Present design concepts and rationale while incorporating feedback constructively.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail across all deliverables.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve creative quality, consistency, and efficiency.

 

Brand Stewardship

  • Serve as a champion of the Cotiviti brand by ensuring consistency across all visual communications.
  • Support the evolution of brand guidelines, templates, and design systems.
  • Stay current on design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually elevate the creative output of the team.
  • Informally mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative, feedback-driven creative culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in graphic design, brand design, visual communications, or related creative disciplines.
  • Exceptional portfolio demonstrating expertise across branding, digital design, presentations, campaigns, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, information hierarchy, and brand systems.
  • Experience designing for multi-touch executions including digital, experiential and print environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable presenting work and collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience creating executive presentations and business communications.
  • Motion graphics, animation, illustration, or video editing experience preferred.
  • Experience within healthcare, healthcare technology, SaaS, or B2B environments preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • High level of creativity, curiosity, accountability, and craftsmanship

 

Cognitive/Mental Requirements:

  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance activities across multiple internal customers, campaigns, tasks, and performance pressures.
  • Strong analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to research prospective customers and plan sales prospecting activities accordingly.
  • Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required. Understands that internal customers’ interests are best served through continuous prospecting and intelligence gathering activities and proactive communication with sales partners.
  • Must be able to perform daily functions with little or no direct supervision.

 

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance.
  • No adverse environmental conditions are expected.

 

Base compensation ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
