Longevity Content Creator (Remote)

Overview:

Forbes Health is looking for a content creator who lives and breathes the peptides, longevity and emerging science spaces for a hybrid role that encompasses writing, building science-based ratings and testing protocols, and creating video content.

Who you are: You have writing experience and have created videos for a health-based audience. You have experience testing health and wellness products and/or designing and overseeing product-testing protocols, including laboratory testing where appropriate. And you have deep firsthand knowledge of how consumers navigate longevity products and services from discovery and onboarding through testing, follow-up, refills and billing.

As Longevity Content Creator, you'll own the strategic vision, testing, ideation and execution for Forbes Health’s ranking and data products spanning longevity and wellness products. We’re looking for candidates who know the ins and outs of peptides, hormone replacement, TRT, supplements and other emerging sciences to create and write reviews and best ofs.

You’ve established yourself in the peptides, longevity or supplements space and know the industry players, communities and consumer pain points. You know what is worth a reader’s time -- and what isn’t -- and you can explain why using evidence, testing and transparent methodologies.

We prioritize quality research, deep expertise and strict methodologies in the coverage, reviews and guidance we provide.

Responsibilities:

• Pitch and create content, such as first-person stories, reviews, product rankings, videos, podcasts and newsletters, with the intention of informing readers about the best wellness products available to them
• Follow the research, know the providers and communities, and pre-emptively spot and pitch useful articles, videos and social posts based on your own industry knowledge
• Create defensible methodologies used to rate and rank wellness products, including peptides, TRT, HRT, hair loss supplements and more. You’ll define research and data collection requirements for longevity and wellness categories, including product testing, surveys, consumer research, scenario modeling and other proprietary data initiatives, then partner with product testing, data and research teams to ensure methodologies are supported by high-quality scientific evidence.
• Work with stakeholders to determine content priorities
• Create video content for social that shows and builds upon your expertise and passion in your areas of expertise
• Serve as an internal and external expert on longevity and wellness topics
• Utilize workflow processes to ensure other stakeholders are aware of projects and priorities.

Qualifications:

• Deep knowledge of the wellness and supplements industries. The ideal candidate will know the major providers, compounds, controversies and online communities
• Demonstrated passion for longevity products and emerging wellness industries: Tell readers what they need to know about this space and why it matters to the community
• Experience testing or building testing protocols
• Can separate beliefs from evidence and turn that knowledge into journalism
• Meaningful, engaged social presence in the peptide, TRT, HRT or longevity space. You don't need to be an influencer, but you should demonstrate that you understand the conversation happening outside traditional health media
• Ability to tackle a lengthy list of priorities on deadline but also be able to pivot when those priorities shift
• You’re comfortable challenging provider claims, questioning the evidence behind popular interventions and changing your view when the evidence changes. In this role, you’ll be tasked with distinguishing between research, claims and personal experience, and you’ll need the ability to stand behind and explain your recommendations to an internal and external audience
• You work well remotely. This is a full-time remote position
