About the Role
As a LinkedIn Content Marketer at DailyRemote, you'll own our end-to-end LinkedIn content experience and create content strategies in close collaboration with our co-founders. You'll build and execute content strategies that establish thought leadership, drive engagement, and create meaningful business outcomes through short-form, social-first content.

This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll extract compelling insights and use AI-powered workflows to produce high-quality LinkedIn content at scale. You'll be responsible for creating content that performs well algorithmically, builds an authentic brand voice, and positions DailyRemote as a leader in the remote work space.

You'll work closely with our co-founders to develop strategies and serve as a trusted content partner.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow the company's LinkedIn presence with consistent, professional content
  • Create engaging brand messaging and thought leadership content for B2C audiences
  • Write original content based on industry insights and strategic guidance
  • Schedule social media posts and actively engage with professional audiences
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide strategic recommendations for market positioning
  • Design visual content using Canva or CapCut for professional social media platforms
  • Develop content strategies that increase brand recognition and support outbound marketing efforts
  • Monitor content performance across LinkedIn metrics (engagement, reach, profile views, etc.)
  • Create regular performance reports that communicate results and strategic recommendations
  • Iterate on content strategies based on data, platform trends, and feedback

You understand what makes LinkedIn content perform, from algorithm dynamics to formatting best practices to emerging content trends. You know how to create content that drives engagement and builds meaningful thought leadership.

You use AI as a powerful tool in your workflow while understanding its limitations. You know how to craft effective prompts, when to use AI versus writing from scratch, and how to edit AI outputs to sound authentically human while maintaining strategic positioning.

Short-Form Writing Excellence
You can craft compelling hooks, tell complete stories in 1,300 characters or less, and adapt tone and style to match brand voice. You understand narrative structure and how to make every word count.

Editorial Judgment
You have a sharp eye for what works and what doesn't. You can identify weak positioning, unclear messaging, or off-brand content—and you know how to fix it.

Content Operations & Management
You excel at managing multiple priorities simultaneously. You manage content calendars, coordinate with freelancers and designers, meet deadlines consistently, and maintain quality standards even at high volume.

Adaptability & Learning Agility
You stay current on LinkedIn platform changes, emerging content formats, and best practices. You're comfortable trying new approaches and adjusting strategies based on data insights.

Required Experience & Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, social media management, or related fields, preferably in B2B/B2C environments or agency settings
  • Proven LinkedIn content expertise with demonstrated success in growing engagement, building thought leadership, and developing content strategies
  • AI content development proficiency, particularly using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or specialized content platforms
  • Exceptional short-form writing and editing skills with a strong sense of voice, narrative structure, and platform-specific best practices
  • Content strategy experience, including building and executing strategies from scratch
  • Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills with the ability to work independently while staying connected with the team
Bonus Points
  • Deep knowledge of LinkedIn algorithm, content formats, and emerging platform features
  • Portfolio demonstrating exceptional LinkedIn content you've created or managed
  • Experience with other content channels like Substack, newsletters, or X/Twitter
