Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager - Growth & Lifecycle Marketing, the Lifecycle Marketing Manager owns the strategy, execution, and measurement of the lifecycle marketing for residential and small commercial prospects across the United States and Canada, engaging leads from initial inquiry through to sales readiness. 

This role designs and orchestrates sophisticated, multi-touch journeys within automation platforms. Drawing on customer, campaign, and engagement data, it delivers increasingly relevant, personalized communications that accelerate conversion, shorten the sales cycle, and unlock greater value from existing acquisition investment. In doing so, it brings dedicated ownership and rigor to nurturing activity currently handled manually, inconsistently, or as a secondary responsibility. 

Operating within the Marketing team, this role partners closely with lead generation, sales, and analytics partners to build a repeatable, measurable nurturing capability that turns generated demand into sales-ready customers. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop, own, and evolve the lifecycle marketing strategy for residential and small commercial prospects across the United States and Canada, with the objective of increasing conversion, accelerating sales readiness, enhancing engagement, and maximizing return on investment.
  • Design, build, launch, and maintain automated, triggered, and behavior-based email and SMS journeys through the marketing automation platform.
  • Support lifecycle programs for multiple initiatives, identify and improve lifecycle gaps, journey leakage points, and conversion barriers.
  • Translate campaign strategies, customer insights, and business objectives into effective, personalized nurture communications, journey maps, messaging frameworks, content requirements, and customer experiences. .
  • Partner with the Insights and Analytics team to develop audience segmentation strategies and identify new personalization opportunities as customer data, technology, and platform capabilities mature.
  • Create reusable templates, modular content assets, and standardized journey components that improve scalability, consistency, and speed to market.
  • Own the strategy, and ongoing optimization of lifecycle programs within the marketing automation platform, partnering with Marketing Operations for configuration and governance.
  • Coordinate lead handoff processes, follow-up expectations, and feedback loops with Sales to ensure timely engagement and continuous improvement in lead conversion outcomes.
  • Establish and monitor lifecycle marketing KPIs, including engagement, sales acceptance, opportunity creation, sales-cycle progression, conversion rates, and revenue contribution.
  • Develop and execute a structured testing and optimization roadmap across subject lines, content, offers, timing, cadence, channels, segmentation strategies, and journey logic.
  • Partner with internal teams and agency partners to develop integrated demand generation and lead management strategies.
  • Coordinate lifecycle journeys across paid media, traditional media, websites, landing pages, email, SMS, remarketing, and sales outreach channels to deliver a seamless customer experience.

 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or a related field required.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification or equivalent marketing automation platform certification preferred
  • 5–7 years of experience developing lead nurture, lifecycle, CRM, email, or marketing automation programs. 
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder and Email Studio, building automated, segmented, and triggered customer journeys. 
  • Experience supporting both U.S. and Canadian marketing programs preferred

Work Location: Candidates must be located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone in the US to be considered. 

 

The expected annual salary range for this role is $78,400 – 98,000 a year. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive program.
