Launch Manager - Execution Framework

 About the role:

The Launch Manager supports the cross-functional orchestration of product launches across Appfire’s portfolio, partnering with Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, Operations, Finance, Legal, Pricing, and other teams to help ensure successful go-to-market execution.
Working within Appfire’s Launch Execution Framework, the Launch Manager drives cross-functional alignment and organizational readiness throughout the launch lifecycle, helping teams navigate dependencies, surface risks and gaps early, facilitate key decisions, and maintain momentum toward launch. The Launch Manager orchestrates the launch process while participating functions retain ownership of their respective deliverables.

What you’ll do:

• Orchestrate cross-functional product launches from launch intake through General Availability (GA) and post-launch review, ensuring teams remain aligned on objectives, milestones, dependencies, priorities, and readiness requirements.
• Apply Appfire’s Launch Execution Framework, including standardized processes, templates, governance, and best practices, while adapting the approach to the tier, complexity, and business impact of each launch.
• Facilitate cross-functional Launch Team meetings, readiness reviews, and key decision points to drive alignment, accountability, and timely decisions.
• Identify and surface launch risks, dependencies, blockers, and readiness gaps early; coordinate mitigation plans and escalate issues requiring leadership support or decisions.
• Provide clear visibility into overall launch health, including progress against milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and areas requiring leadership attention.
• Partner with Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, Finance, Legal, Pricing, Operations, and other functions to navigate competing priorities and maintain launch momentum while ensuring functional owners retain accountability for their deliverables.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent launches and complex workstreams, adapting established processes to address launch-specific challenges, ambiguity, and changing business requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Appfire’s launch processes, templates, automation, and AI capabilities to improve launch quality, scalability, visibility, and operational effectiveness.

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years of experience in Launch Management, Program Management, Product Operations, Product Marketing, Go-to-Market, or a related cross-functional role within a SaaS or technology company.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams, stakeholders, dependencies, and priorities.
• Strong organizational and project planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple launches or complex workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills, with experience working effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate without direct authority, build alignment, and drive accountability across functional teams.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, navigate ambiguity, resolve dependencies, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Experience supporting software or technology product launches and coordinating activities across the product and go-to-market lifecycle.
• Experience working with cross-functional processes, frameworks, or tools to improve operational visibility, consistency, and execution
