You will handle first-level client inquiries regarding regulatory reporting and risk solutions while collaborating with global teams. Additionally, you will contribute to internal knowledge bases and gradually take on technical troubleshooting tasks.

At Regnology our greatest asset is our people. We value diversity and foster an inclusive environment that supports learning, safety, and growth. By investing in our team, listening to customers, and encouraging creativity, we drive continuous innovation and improvement.
We offer a flexible, innovative environment where your ideas matter and your career can thrive.
Regnology is a global leader in regulatory reporting, helping financial institutions, regulators, and tax authorities improve data quality, efficiency, and cost savings. Our mission: to safeguard financial markets through smarter, future-ready solutions.

About this role

If you have a background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, we'll help you turn that foundation into real-world expertise.

You don't need to know every banking regulation or reporting standard before you join. From Basel, IFRS, capital adequacy, and FATCA to regulatory reporting and risk management, we'll teach you what you need to succeed through structured onboarding, hands-on learning, and the support of experienced colleagues. We believe the best way to learn is by doing, with the right guidance every step of the way.

From day one, you'll be paired with a dedicated buddy and become part of a genuinely international team, collaborating with colleagues and clients across multiple countries and time zones as part of our global "Follow the Sun" support model.

This is more than an entry-level role, it's the beginning of a long-term career. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll have a clear path from Junior Support Specialist to Support Specialist and beyond, with opportunities to develop both functional and technical expertise and shape your career in the direction that suits you best.

What you'll do

Learn & Support

  • Learn our regulatory reporting and risk solutions and the banking/finance concepts behind them, supported by a structured training plan and a dedicated buddy.
  • Handle first-level client questions and functional inquiries, escalating more complex issues to senior team members as you build your expertise.
  • Help investigate discrepancies in regulatory calculations under guidance from experienced Support Specialists.

Grow into troubleshooting

  • Gradually take on business rule and configuration troubleshooting as your product knowledge develops.
  • Get hands-on exposure to technical basics relevant to support (e.g. reading logs, user access, simple SQL queries), with training provided.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to see how functional and technical issue resolution come together.

Contribute & build experience

  • Contribute to our internal knowledge base and client-facing documentation as a way of consolidating what you learn.
  • Take part in cross-functional initiatives to improve support processes and product features.
  • Once ramped up, join the rotation supporting our global "Follow the Sun" model (with full training and support before any on-call responsibility) — working alongside teams across different regions to keep our clients supported around the clock.

Why we should decide on you

  • A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field — recent graduates are very welcome to apply.
  • No prior professional experience required; internships or academic projects touching finance, banking, or data are a plus but not a must.
  • Genuine curiosity about banking, regulation, and risk — we'll teach you the rest.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a good affinity for numbers and structured problem-solving.
  • Comfortable with, or curious about, technical troubleshooting (logs, configurations, basic SQL) — training provided.
  • Good communication skills in English (B2/C1), written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ticketing systems is a plus, not a requirement.
  • Comfortable working with colleagues and clients across different countries, cultures, and time zones as part of a global team.
  • Willingness to grow into occasional on-call/weekend coverage over time, as part of a global rotation — not required from day one.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and its potential application in a business environment.

Key Attributes

  • Curious and eager to learn, with a structured and analytical approach.
  • Calm and dependable, even when picking up something new under time pressure.
  • Client-focused and collaborative, with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Proactive about asking questions and improving how things are done.

Why you should decide on us

  • Let’s grow together, join our market leading SaaS company – our agile character and culture of innovation enables you to design our future.
  • We provide you with the opportunity to take on responsibility and participate in international projects.
  • In addition to our buddy-program, we offer numerous individual and wide-ranging training opportunities during which you can explore technical and functional areas.
  • Our internal mobility initiative encourages colleagues to transfer cross functionally to gain experience and promotes knowledge sharing.
  • We are proud of our positive working atmosphere characterized by a supportive team across different locations and countries and transparent communication across all levels.
  • Together we're better - meet your colleagues at our numerous team events.

To get a first impression, we only need your CV and look forward to meeting you in a (personal/virtual) interview!
Recognizing the benefits of working in diverse teams, we are committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of gender, age, nationality, ethnic or social origin, disability, and sexual identity.
