We're hiring a
Lead Software Engineer for one of our top client engagements — a global leader
in payments technology. In this role, you will act as a technical leader,
working alongside the client's business, development, and infrastructure teams
to guide architecture and design decisions. This is a remote, Contractor/EOR
engagement based in Mexico City, Mexico.
• Lead technical and design discussions to help
the enterprise speed its adoption of new technologies and practices
• Architect and build highly scalable,
cloud-native applications
• Leverage new technology paradigms, such as
serverless computing, containers, and microservices
• Advise on implementing cloud best practices and
continuous improvement
• Act as a key contributor in establishing and
applying policies and standards related to cloud technology
Requirements
• Java 17 or above
• JPA
• Spring Boot
• Microservices/API design and development
• Kafka
• Kubernetes
• AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure
experience
• Familiarity with design patterns and API
standards
• Experience writing performant code and
troubleshooting complex issues across multi-tiered architectures
• Exceptional debugging skills
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and
Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI
programming tools
• Experience with Karate or other testing
frameworks
