IT Program Manager

Position Summary:

The IT Program Manager owns how IT connects with the rest of Recor Medical. The role holds strategic ownership of the company intranet and IT communication tools including the IT Department Newsletter. This role establishes measurable outcomes for IT communications and training, including reach, engagement, comprehension, completion, and adoption. This position provides project management leadership for cross-functional system implementations, internally organizing each project from initiation through go-live. The role is also accountable for ensuring user-facing and post-implementation training is created by the appropriate subject matter experts, embedded into every implementation as a required workstream.

Responsibilities:

• Holds strategic ownership of the company intranet — information architecture, governance, content strategy, and editorial standards across IT-published surfaces.

• Owns the IT Department Newsletter end-to-end, including editorial calendar, contributor management, voice, and cadence.

• Serves as the accountable owner for the wording, timing, and channel of IT-driven change and policy communications.

• Establishes and tracks measurable outcomes for IT communications (reach, engagement, comprehension) and ties results to adoption outcomes and business impact.

• Partners with Corporate Communications, HR, and Legal where IT messaging intersects with company-wide communications, policy, or compliance requirements.

• Provides project management leadership for IT-led system implementations that span multiple business functions (HR, Clinical, Quality, Operations, Finance, etc.).

• Runs each project across the full lifecycle: initiation (stakeholder map, success criteria, sponsor sign-off), planning (scope, milestones, RACI, communications and training plan), execution (cross-team cadence), and landing (go-live, post-implementation training, adoption tracking).

• Embeds communications and training plans into every implementation as a non-negotiable workstream.

• Maintains transparent project status, risk, and decision logs accessible to sponsors and stakeholders.

• Conducts post-implementation reviews and applies lessons learned to subsequent projects.

• Accountable for ensuring user-facing training is created by the appropriate subject matter expert — governing the process, not authoring the content.

• Accountable for ensuring post-implementation training is created by subject matter experts following every system go-live, prior to project closeout.

• Tracks training completion and effectiveness; feeds insights back into the next implementation cycle.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience combining internal communications, SharePoint or intranet administration, training program management, or IT project management.

• Demonstrated ownership of an enterprise intranet or internal communications platform; SharePoint Online strongly preferred.

• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects from initiation through go-live, with measurable adoption outcomes.

• Strong written and verbal communication — able to translate technical concepts into clear, audience-appropriate language for non-technical end users and executive stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to hold subject matter experts accountable to deadlines and quality standards without authoring the content directly.

• Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, and OneDrive.

• High degree of organization, self-direction, and discretion handling sensitive and confidential company information.

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other FDA-regulated industries preferred.

Salary Range: $147,000 - $165,000 (Annual Base Salary)

Compensation for this role is determined using market-based geographic pay ranges. The salary range offered to the selected candidate may vary based on their primary work location, relevant experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

Radiation Safety Requirement

Certain field-based roles at Recor Medical require work in environments where radiation sources (e.g., x-ray equipment) are in use. Employees in these roles will be issued a personal dosimetry badge to monitor occupational exposure and are required to wear it in accordance with company policy and applicable regulatory standards. This program is designed to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and to maintain radiation exposure at levels that are As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA). Additional guidance and protective equipment, as necessary, will be provided as part of onboarding and ongoing safety training.
