• Set the technology direction, build the multi-year roadmap, and turn business goals into practical priorities, standards, and measurable wins.

• Lead the Infrastructure & Support and Internal Technology & Business Systems teams, building a culture of service excellence, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Own the health and lifecycle of enterprise applications including NetSuite, HubSpot, HRIS, Microsoft 365, knowledge management, reporting platforms, and whatever useful system comes next.

• Keep infrastructure, networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, data management, and end-user support secure, reliable, scalable, and ready for growth.

• Lead cybersecurity, risk management, disaster recovery, business continuity, asset management, and modernization efforts. In other words, help us be prepared before the plot twist.

• Build and execute Vertech's enterprise AI strategy, including smart use cases, governance, training, security controls, automation, agents, and intelligent workflows.

• Partner with business leaders to streamline processes, improve adoption, make reporting useful, and turn technology investments into better productivity and business outcomes.

• Guide organizational change with communication, training, and engagement that help people adopt new technology instead of quietly returning to a spreadsheet from 2009.

• Manage the IT operating and capital budgets, evaluate investments, negotiate with vendors, and make sure technology spending delivers real value.

• Develop the team, manage consultants and technology partners, establish service expectations, and balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight when needed.

 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ years leading multi-functional technology teams.

• Experience overseeing enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology operations.

• A track record of leading large-scale technology initiatives, organizational change, digital transformation, or modernization efforts.

• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite and CRM platforms such as HubSpot is preferred.

• Experience implementing AI, automation, business intelligence, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred.

• MBA, PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or equivalent certifications are a plus, not a personality test.

• Strong leadership, strategic management, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and talent development skills.

• Comfort with KPIs, operational data, IT standards, process optimization, and making decisions that are both thoughtful and useful.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to translate technology-speak into plain English.
