Independent Consultant – Finance, Tax & Accounting, HR & Payroll, ERP - Istanbul

Are you an experienced finance, tax, payroll or ERP professional who wants to work independently, with a strong team behind you?

Basico is a consultancy founded in Denmark, advising some of Denmark's largest companies as well as fast-growing international businesses across finance, tax, HR & payroll and finance IT. Today we operate in Denmark, Turkey and Portugal, with many more countries to come in the near future.

We recently established Basico Turkey and are building a network of independent consultants (associates) to support our clients' operations in Turkey.

This is an open, ongoing call. We are looking for experienced professionals in one or more of the following areas:

CFO Services – Finance

• Month-end and year-end closing, group reporting and consolidation (IFRS/US GAAP)

• Budgeting, forecasting and management reporting

• Financial sparring with management

CFO Services – Tax & Accounting

• Bookkeeping and statutory financial statements under Turkish GAAP (VUK / TFRS)

• Turkish tax compliance: VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, e-invoice and e-ledger

• Bridging local TR GAAP books and group (IFRS/US GAAP) reporting

People & Payroll

• End-to-end payroll, including SSI and payroll tax filings

• Turkish labour law, HR administration and onboarding processes

Finance IT

• ERP implementations (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central, SAP, Logo, Netsis)

• Acting as the link between Finance and IT: workshops, requirements, testing and handover

You don't need to cover every area. Deep expertise in one is enough.

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of hands-on experience at a larger company, an audit or advisory firm, or as an independent consultant

• Is already self-employed or open to working independently

• Takes ownership, works hands-on and communicates clearly with clients

• Is fluent in Turkish and English

• Has an SMMM licence, ERP certifications or a Big 4 background (a plus)
