This is both a strategic and hands-on HR Manager role - you will be responsible for leading all HR initiatives for a New York-based office and partnering closely with senior leadership to support business objectives. This role oversees the full employee lifecycle while driving HR strategy, operational excellence, and employee engagement. Minimum of 5 years of experience required. Description Serve as the primary HR point of contact for the New York office, advising senior leadership on all HR matters Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and offboarding Partner with global HR teams to implement strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with global programs Oversee HR operations, including HRIS management, data integrity, and reporting of HR metrics Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievances Support office operations, including health & safety compliance and business continuity initiatives Profile Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR or a related field Prior experience working at a small, financial services firm highly preferred Proven HR generalist experience, ideally within a highly regulated or financial services environment Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices Demonstrated experience managing employee relations cases and the full recruitment lifecycle Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems Able to work onsite 3 days a week in NYC Job Offer Salary up to $160K base + bonus, depending on years of experience.
