The Human Resources Generalist will manage employee-focused programs, provide administrative support, and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and grievances. They will also collaborate with leadership to implement HR strategies and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Numerator is looking for an exceptional Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This person will optimise and improve the employee experience, helping to create a more meaningful and satisfying work environment. The Human Resources Generalist will manage and support various employee-focused programs, provide operational and administrative support, and be responsible for other ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed. To ensure success, our HR Generalist should display a strong interest in helping others, a ‘service first’ attitude and a desire to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
Builds relationships and collaborates across the company to understand and meet employee engagement needs while providing high levels of internal customer service.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, issues, and grievances. Provide guidance on conflict resolution and performance management.
Represents HR on internal employee experience committees.
Provides a great onboarding experience for new hires, considering the needs of different employee groups.
Maintains a good level of HR data through all HR Systems across the organisation.
Ensures all employee experience activities are developed within company values.
Answers employee questions regarding policies and procedures, escalating questions/ issues to appropriate HR team members when necessary.
Composes and edits other internal communication (i.e., general correspondence, miscellaneous memos, and special-project communication).
Responsible for various HRIS employee record keeping. Develops and runs various HRIS reports.
Keep records of benefits plan participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
Ensures HR practices comply with employment laws and regulations. Update and communicate HR policies as needed.
Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
Assists with updates of company/Human Resources policies and manuals.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
