About Allied Roofing Partners

Allied Roofing Partners is a fast-growing network of roofing companies united by a shared mission — to build strong businesses, strong teams, and strong communities. Through strategic acquisitions and people-focused leadership, we’re redefining what it means to be part of a modern roofing organization. Our commitment to quality, safety, and innovation drives everything we do, and we take pride in creating lasting partnerships with our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

About the Role

At Allied Roofing Partners, our HR team is more than a support function — we are strategic partners who help our companies build strong teams, solve complex people challenges, and create workplaces where employees genuinely enjoy coming to work. As our organization continues to grow across the country, the HR Manager plays an important role in supporting leaders and employees across multiple locations.

This position is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys taking ownership of their work, thinking proactively, and bringing solutions to the table. We’re looking for someone who can step into a fast-moving environment, confidently manage a variety of HR responsibilities, and operate with initiative while collaborating closely with our leadership team.

Our HR department is known for being energetic, supportive, and just a little bit quirky — we work hard, solve problems quickly, and genuinely enjoy building great workplaces together. If you are someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values professionalism but also enjoys being part of a team that has fun while getting things done, you’ll fit right in here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to leadership, managers and employees across multiple ARP companies.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace concerns while ensuring fair and compliant resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support HR audits, compliance reporting, and workers’ compensation coordination.
  • Oversee onboarding processes and conduct new hire orientations to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Support benefits administration, employee inquiries, and compensation review processes.
  • Assist with leadership development initiatives, required training programs, and employee engagement efforts.
  • Track required compliance training and certifications across locations.
  • Utilize HR systems and reporting tools to maintain records, generate reports, and support HR decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership on process improvements and HR initiatives across multiple sites.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Manager or senior HR Generalist responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR operations.
  • Must be within the Central or Eastern Time Zone to accommodate availability to various sites in different time zones.
  • Flexibility to occasionally be available after hours to handle an employee issue, or coordinate a work site injury over the weekend.

Professional Skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Technical Skills

  • Experience using HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred).
  • Experience using project / task management platforms (Monday.com preferred).

Preferred

  • Experience supporting acquisitions or business integrations, including the implementation of HR systems, policies, processes, and employee transitions.
  • Experience supporting multi-location organizations.

Work Environment

  • 100% Remote position
  • Full-time, Exempt
  • Must maintain a professional home office with reliable internet
  • Occasional travel may be required

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay and benefits
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • 100% Paid Life Insurance
  • Employee Discount Program
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Fully remote work environment
  • Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding organization
