An established and growing organization within the manufacturing sector is seeking a People Leader to oversee HR across North America. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role will be responsible for leading and evolving the People function in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all core areas of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, total rewards, and development initiatives
- Act as the primary HR partner across Canada and the U.S.
- Support a globally distributed workforce
- Partner with leadership on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee experience
- Ensure HR practices align with applicable employment legislation and business needs
- Establish and refine HR processes, policies, and frameworks to support ongoing growth
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience leading HR in a multi-region environment (Canada/U.S.)
- Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on capacities
- Demonstrated ability to build, implement, and scale HR programs
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience supporting senior leadership
- Sound judgment, autonomy, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
Background
- Experience within manufacturing environments is preferred
- Exposure to growth-oriented or evolving organizations is an asset
