Job Summary

The Healthcare Enterprise Data Product Owner leads the strategy, delivery, and lifecycle management of cloud-based enterprise data products that support the organization's operational and strategic objectives. Focusing primarily on Atlas—our flagship platform linking hospital EMRs to aggregate data and drive operational decision-making—this role partners across functions to help ensure products provide trusted, compliant, and actionable data that supports decision-making and patient care.

The Healthcare Enterprise Data Product Owner manages the product backlog in Jira, communicates with technical, clinical, and corporate stakeholders, prioritizes features, and ensures alignment with enterprise data standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions

• Backlog Management: Leads backlog creation and refinement in Jira, ensuring user stories, epics, tasks, and acceptance criteria are clearly defined and aligned with technical effort levels.
• Strategy & Alignment: Translates business needs into product features aligned with enterprise data strategy.
• Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners closely with external vendor partners (such as Unity), engineering, analytics, governance teams, corporate executives, and hospital C-suite stakeholders to support product delivery and operational efficiency.
• Quality & Compliance: Validates releases for functional accuracy, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Stakeholder Feedback: Facilitates stakeholder review sessions and gathers feedback to inform roadmap planning, translating complex technical concepts into clear terms for non-technical leadership.
• Standard Operational Duties: Performs other duties as assigned; maintains regular and reliable attendance; complies with all company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business, or a related field; or the equivalent required
• 3-5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, data, or a related field required
• Experience in healthcare or healthcare operations strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and product ownership practices.
• Experience with self-service business intelligence tools, Jira, and multi-platform analytics environments.
• Understanding of cloud data warehouse and data lake concepts; Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience preferred for querying data directly.
• Working knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business, technical, and clinical stakeholders, with demonstrated executive presence.
• Strong prioritization, requirements analysis, and release validation skills.
• Ability to manage enterprise-scale data products from conception through delivery.

Licenses and Certifications

• Certified Scrum Product Owner or equivalent preferred
