Role Purpose:
Strategically direct, oversee, and manage the company’s Information Technology infrastructure, trading platforms, and cybersecurity framework. This role is responsible for preparing and leading all IT systems through regulatory readiness audits to secure business activation with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). The Head of IT will also drive the development of mobile/web trading applications, back-office/mid-office systems, and technical roadmaps to launch localized financial products, including Thai equities, TFEX, mutual funds, and derivative instruments (both local and offshore).
Key Responsibilities:
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE & BUSINESS ACTIVATION
• SEC & SET Activation: Drive and prepare all IT, cybersecurity, and operational systems to pass SEC and SET IT Readiness Audits, enabling successful business activation for brokerage operations in Thailand.
• Compliance & Governance: Establish and update IT Governance policies, Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), and IT Risk Management frameworks in full alignment with regulations from the SEC, Bank of Thailand (BOT), PDPA, and the Cybersecurity Act.
• Audit & Inspection: Serve as the primary IT liaison for regulatory bodies (SEC, SET), external auditors, and regulatory inspectors.
TRADING APPLICATION & PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT
• Front-End / App Development: Oversee the end-to-end development and enhancement of trading applications (Mobile & Web), ensuring high performance, stability, seamless UX/UI, and alignment with local investor preferences.
• Back-Office & Core Systems: Lead the implementation and integration of core brokerage systems, including Clearing & Settlement, Customer Onboarding (e-KYC), Risk Management Engine, OMS/EMS, and Account Processing.
• System Integration: Manage the seamless integration between Longbridge’s global trading platform and local Thai market infrastructure (SET, TFEX, TSD, NCCL, Payment Gateways, and NDID).
PRODUCT EXPANSION & LOCAL ADAPTATION
• Product Roadmap: Technical execution of new financial products tailored for the Thai market, including Thai Equities (SET), Derivatives (TFEX), Mutual Funds (FundConnext), and Structured Products/Derivatives (both onshore and offshore).
• API & Ecosystem: Design and manage API integrations with external partners, market data vendors, and financial institutions to build a robust financial ecosystem.
IT INFRASTRUCTURE, CLOUD & CYBERSECURITY
• Infrastructure & Cloud: Design and oversee high-availability, scalable, and resilient cloud/hybrid infrastructure architectures.
• Cybersecurity Management: Implement cybersecurity controls, Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT), SOC monitoring, and incident response protocols to safeguard customer data and critical trading systems.
IT OPERATIONS & TEAM LEADERSHIP
• Team Building: Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing IT team encompassing Systems, Network, Security, DevOps, QA, and Software Engineering.
• Vendor Management: Select, negotiate, and manage third-party vendors (IT service providers, market data providers, system integrators), ensuring strict compliance with SLAs and cost efficiency.
• Budgeting: Formulate and manage the annual IT budget (CAPEX/OPEX) to maximize operational efficiency and ROI.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10+ years of IT leadership/management experience in brokerage firms, financial institutions, or Fintech companies.
- Direct experience in taking IT systems through SEC/SET system readiness audits for business activation in Thailand is highly required.
- Deep understanding of trading system architectures, order routing, matching engines, clearing & settlement processes.
- In-depth knowledge of SEC regulations regarding IT Governance, Cybersecurity, PDPA, and BCP/DRP framework.
- Strong familiarity with local Thai infrastructure: SET, TFEX, FundConnext, TSD, and e-KYC/NDID.
- Hands-on expertise in Cloud Architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Microservices, and Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong strategic leadership and team management skills within a fast-paced / Agile environment.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus for coordinating with regional technical teams.
