About the Client

Our client is a results-driven digital marketing agency specializing in lead generation for U.S.-based local service businesses.

The agency helps businesses generate qualified leads through Google Ads, Google Local Services Ads (LSAs), and other digital marketing strategies. Their clients include businesses in industries such as roofing, remodeling, landscaping, legal, medical, and other high-ticket local services.

They're looking for someone who can take ownership of Google Ads accounts while helping improve internal processes and systems.

About the Role

We are looking for a Google Ads Account Manager with hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Local Services Ads for U.S.-based local service businesses.

You will initially focus on backend account management, learning the company's SOPs and processes and managing approximately 10 accounts. As you become more familiar with the business and demonstrate strong performance, the role will grow to include a larger portfolio of accounts and eventually more client-facing responsibilities.

This is an opportunity for someone who is proactive, organized, independent, and motivated to identify opportunities—not just manage what's already in place.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Google Ads and Google Local Services Ads campaigns for U.S.-based local service businesses.
• Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Initially manage approximately 10 accounts, with the potential to grow to 30–40 accounts over time.
• Follow established SOPs and maintain organized and consistent account-management processes.
• Proactively identify issues, opportunities, and areas where campaigns or processes can be improved.
• Analyze campaign performance and make data-driven optimization decisions.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Client Success, and the technical/web team.
• Gradually take on more client-facing responsibilities as you become established in the role.
• Stay current with Google Ads and LSA best practices and identify opportunities to improve campaign performance.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to improve internal systems and workflows.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience.
• Proven experience managing Google Ads for U.S.-based local service businesses.
• Hands-on experience with Google Local Services Ads (LSAs).
• Experience managing multiple Google Ads accounts simultaneously.
• Experience managing multiple Google Ads accounts across different budget levels, including lower-budget accounts.
• Proven results managing previous Google Ads accounts.
• Advanced English proficiency for effective communication with clients and internal teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and comfortable working with SOPs and structured processes.
• Proactive and self-directed, with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET.

Nice to Have

• Experience with conversion tracking and landing pages.
• Experience with GoHighLevel.
• Experience with ClickUp or similar project-management tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools and AI-powered workflows.
• Experience with Meta Ads or other paid media channels.
