The role is responsible for establishing global sales strategies, plans, and programs to build market position for Digital Flexo Solutions. This includes leading a high-performing sales team, managing channel partnerships, and collaborating with product management to drive growth.
The Role
As the Sales VP Flexo, you will be a member of the Packaging Suppliers Leadership team, reporting directly to the GM. You will be responsible for establishing and coordinating all sales strategies, plans, programs and functions. This critical role will be responsible for building the global market position with oversight of key Business Development functions including go-to-market strategy, channel partnerships, sales, pricing and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
- Setting sales goals and objectives: The Director of Sales is responsible for setting ambitious yet achievable sales targets and objectives for the regions and sales.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies: The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that align with the company's overall business goals and objectives
- Leading and managing the sales team: The Director of Sales is responsible for building, leading and managing a high performing sales team, including hiring, training, and motivating sales executives
- Analyzing sales data and trends: The Director of Sales is responsible for analyzing sales/CRM data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Building relationships with key clients and channel partners: The Director of Sales is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and channel partners to drive business growth
- Problem solving & thought leadership: The Director of Sales becomes a thought leader in industry forums in latest trends & technologies and provides guidance and problem solving assistance to Clients and Company CTO in new product development initiatives
- Budgeting and forecasting: The Director of Sales is responsible for creating and managing the sales budget and forecasting future sales trends.
- Collaborating with other departments: The Director of Sales is responsible for collaborating with other departments, such as Global Accounts, Enfocus, marketing and product management, to ensure that the sales team has the resources and support needed to achieve its goals.
- Building Culture of Success and Value: The Director of Sales is responsible for creating a culture of success in terms of long-term thinking and value delivery to customers
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business related fields. MBA, Masters and/or PhD degree desired.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 + years of experience in enterprise CAPEX sales in Advanced Hardware/Software businesses
- Sales Expertise: Selling ecosystem solutions to enterprise and mid market customers with a consultative & value-based selling approach
- Leadership: Must be a strong leader who can inspire, motivate, and guide the sales team towards achieving its goals, and establish credibility with customers
- Strategic thinking: Must be able to think strategically and develop sales strategies that align with the company’s overall business goals, considering resource constraints
- Communication skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information and ideas to the sales team, clients, and stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills: Must have strong problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges and opportunities in the sales process and help customers solve their business and operational problems
- Adaptability: Must be able to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs, and be able to pivot sales strategies as needed.
- Relationship-building skills: Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, channel partners and key stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Negotiation skills: Must be skilled at negotiating deals and closing sales
- Analytical skills: Must be able to analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Knowledge of market and technology: Must be experienced in Packaging trends, and eager to learn about estimation, planning and Artificial Intelligence
- Automation & Scalability: Experience using leading CRM Platforms to track, automate and report sales management processes and report performance metrics
- Travel: Flexibility to travel up to 50% to visit customers, partners and/or prospects, mainly in North America and Europe.
