Design and build features across the full stack while managing integrations between external CRM systems and internal web platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and maintain robust API services.
Oxford Data Plan is an alternative data company helping investors, funds, and analysts uncover signal in non-traditional datasets. The Web Platform is one of the key ways clients discover, evaluate, and access our data products.
We're looking for a mid-level Full-Stack Web Platform Engineer to help build and evolve the web properties and internal tools that power our platform. You'll work across a Python backend and a React frontend, and you'll own the integration between our external CRM system(s) and our web applications — keeping client, lead, and account data in sync between our platform and the tools our sales and client-success teams rely on.
This is a fully remote role, and a great fit for someone who enjoys owning a feature end-to-end: API design, data modeling, frontend implementation, and deployment.
Design and build features across our full stack — Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask) services and React/Next.js frontends.
Own the integration between our external CRM (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and our web platform, including data sync pipelines, webhooks, and bidirectional updates between the CRM and our internal systems.
Build and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs that connect frontend products to backend services and third-party data sources.
Collaborate with sales, client success, and product teams to make sure account, lead, and usage data flows cleanly between the CRM and our platform.
Manage and extend integrations with external identity providers (e.g. Okta, Auth0, Azure AD) for client and internal authentication, including SSO/SAML/OAuth flows.
Contribute to platform architecture decisions around data modeling, caching, and API design.
Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code review.
Help diagnose and resolve production issues across the stack.
Contribute to CI/CD and deployment practices (Docker, GitHub Actions, cloud infrastructure).
3–5 years of professional experience as a full-stack or web engineer.
Solid experience with Python (Django, FastAPI, or Flask) for backend/API development.
Solid experience with React (or Next.js) for frontend development.
Hands-on experience integrating a web application with an external CRM system — e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar — including data sync, webhooks, or API-based integrations.
Experience integrating with external identity providers for authentication — e.g. Okta, Auth0, Azure AD — including SSO, SAML, or OAuth2/OIDC flows.
Comfortable designing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL preferred).
Familiarity with Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and containerized deployments (Docker).
Comfortable working with AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) as part of the day-to-day development workflow.
Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally, and in a fully remote, async-friendly environment.
Experience in fintech, capital markets, or data/analytics products.
Exposure to market data, time-series data, or financial reporting dashboards.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Familiarity with performance optimization and web accessibility best practices.
Fully remote — work from anywhere.
Work on a platform that sits at the intersection of data, finance, and engineering.
Small, senior team with real ownership over architecture and product decisions.
Competitive salary and bonuses.
