This position is Remote to work with a US Company; you will require to have Citizenship or a work permit from Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina or Salvador to apply for this role.

Role summary

You will develop and enhance enterprise web and desktop applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable software solutions. This role focuses on full-stack development, application integrations, and continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web and desktop applications using .NET Core, Flask, Express.js, Angular, and Electron.
• Build responsive user interfaces and scalable backend services.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases.
• Write clean, maintainable code using C#, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Perform unit testing and support defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues across development, QA, and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
• Support production incidents, root cause analysis (RCA), and application maintenance.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with QA, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements – Must-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of Full Stack software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET Core, Flask, and Express.js.
• Experience developing applications with Angular (React experience is also valuable).
• Experience with Electron desktop applications.
• Strong programming skills in C#, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves (optional)

• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor.
• Experience in the travel and transportation industry.
• Experience supporting production environments and application deployments.
