Frontend Developer

As a Frontend Developer at Halo, you will play a key role in building high-quality, scalable, and user-centric interfaces for client-facing applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into seamless digital experiences. This role requires a high level of autonomy, ownership, and strong technical judgment, as you will be working directly on critical client projects.

Key Responsibilities
1. Frontend Development & Architecture

• Design and implement scalable and maintainable frontend solutions using React and Next.js

• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces

• Ensure consistency across applications by following design systems and best practices

• Develop Features: Build new user-facing features and reusable components/libraries for future use.

• Ensure Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.

• Implement Responsiveness: Ensure application responsiveness across various browsers and devices.

• Collaborate: Work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to define how applications look and function.

• Ensure Quality: Perform testing and debugging to ensure a bug-free, user-friendly experience.

• Maintain Standards: Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency

2. Collaboration & Product Alignment

• Work closely with Product Managers, Backend Developers, and TA teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

• Contribute to defining UI/UX improvements and product enhancements

• Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs

3. Code Quality & Best Practices

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

• Contribute to technical documentation and frontend standards

4. Performance & Troubleshooting

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks

• Debug and troubleshoot issues across environments

• Ensure application reliability and scalability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development

• Strong experience with React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript

• Experience consuming RESTful APIs

• Familiarity with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, etc.)

• Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility

• Experience in agile environments

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• High level of autonomy and ownership

• Frameworks/Libraries: Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and GitHub.

• CSS Preprocessing: Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.

• API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON data.

• Web Standards: Deep understanding of web markup and accessibility standards.
