Labcorp is seeking a US Remote based Flow Cytometry Analyst I to join our team!

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

The Flow Cytometry Analyst I plays a key role in supporting accurate and timely patient sample analysis across a wide range of flow cytometry assays. This position is responsible for analyzing flow cytometry data using established analysis software, including WinList and FCS Express, and accurately preparing and saving results using assay-specific Excel tools. Analysts follow established analysis procedures and assay-specific training materials to ensure consistent, accurate, and high-quality results.

The role may also support the analysis of technical transfer samples as new assays are transitioned into the laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in flow cytometry, strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, including accurately entering, reviewing, saving, and managing analysis files. The ability to learn and work with multiple assays and software platforms, manage competing priorities, and consistently follow established procedures is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Perform Flow Cytometry Data Analysis: Analyze patient sample data across a wide range of assays using established analysis software, including WinList and FCS Express, following approved assay-specific analysis procedures, templates, and training materials to ensure accurate and consistent results.

·       Utilize Established Analysis Tools: Learn and effectively use existing analysis software, gating templates, Excel reporting tools, and assay-specific training materials to perform analysis according to established procedures.

·       Ensure Analysis Accuracy and Quality: Review analyzed patient sample data for accuracy and consistency, applying established assay-specific analysis criteria and escalating unusual findings or issues when appropriate.

·       Prepare and Save Analysis Results: Generate and maintain patient sample result files using established reporting workflows. Depending on the assay and analysis platform, this may include saving system-generated results or preparing result Excel files from analysis-generated capture data. Ensure final results are accurately saved and maintained in the required Excel and PDF formats according to established procedures.

·       Support Technical Transfers: Analyze technical transfer data using established analysis procedures and prepare the associated Excel and PDF result files. Perform accurate and consistent analysis of technical transfer samples and prepare the associated Excel and PDF result files to support evaluation against established acceptance criteria, including applicable CV% requirements.

·       Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Scientists and other team members as needed to address analysis questions, unusual data patterns, or assay-specific considerations while following established gating and analysis strategies.

·       Maintain Documentation & Compliance: Uphold rigorous documentation, data integrity, and quality standards in alignment with departmental procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.

• 1 year of flow cytometry analysis experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of experience with flow cytometry analysis
• MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), CLS(NCA) or SCYM(ASCP) certification

Additional Job Standards:

• Ability to work independently and within a remote global team environment
• Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems
• High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
• Strong working knowledge of flow cytometry principles
• Hands-on experience with FCS Express or comparable analysis software; experience with Excel automation (macros, formulas) preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Pay Range: $15.22-$25.92
