We are looking for a Financial Operations Assistant who will help maintain the financial organization and operational discipline that allows our team to serve our schools and community effectively.


This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated by contributing to a structured and purpose-driven organization.


You will play an important role in ensuring that financial records, invoices, expenses, and reports are accurate, organized, and delivered on time, helping leadership make sound decisions and supporting the continued growth of our organization.



Your Mission

Support the financial and operational organization of the company by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reporting processes, and ensuring financial documentation is consistently organized, updated, and accessible.

Your work helps ensure the finance team has reliable information to support responsible decision-making and operational excellence.



Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
  • Track invoices, payments, and expenses with consistency and precision
  • Support preparation of monthly financial reports (P&L and cash flow)
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking
  • Monitor expense entries and categorization
  • Perform basic bank transaction reconciliation
  • Maintain structured digital filing of financial records
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices, payments, or financial items
  • Communicate with internal teams to collect financial information when necessary



What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who demonstrates discipline, reliability, and attention to detail.

Required

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Comfort working with numbers and financial data
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to follow structured processes and systems
  • Clear written communication skills
  • High level of responsibility and reliability

Preferred

  • Basic understanding of financial documentation or accounting
