A Day in the Life

As a Financial and Administration Focal, in our Calgary office, you’ll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.

The compensation range for this role is $23.00 to $38.00, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:

• Project Financial Planning & Scope Review
• Financial Monitoring & Burn Rate Analysis
• Time & Cost Tracking
• Invoice Review & Financial Controls
• Field Cost Reconciliation
• Risk Management & Compliance
• Procurement, Administrative support, Resourcing support and HSSE Support

Your Expertise and Skills

These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.

• Bachelors or diploma in related scientific or technical discipline an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant diploma and experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project finance, cost control, or financial analysis, preferably in consulting, engineering, or environmental services.
• Strong understanding of project-based accounting and financial management.
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Workday), Excel (advanced), and reporting tools.
• Understanding business processes and software tools used for administration.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
